The application process of IIM Ahmedabad for PGP takes place via CAT. Therefore, candidates need to visit the official website of CAT to get admission to IIM Ahmedabad. The institute will further shortlist the candidates based on CAT score and send emails to shortlisted candidates. On successful completion of this course, students are given a Master of Business Administration degree. For admission, it is mandatory for all eligible candidates to take a GMAT/ GRE test. In the final selection process, candidates are also required to appear for a PI round and submit an essay.
Candidates seeking admission to MBA at IIM Ahmedabad are required to apply via CAT. Aspirants must check the eligibility requirements before applying. Candidates (General category) seeking admission to IIM-A for MBA must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate. For final selection, a student is required to have a valid score in the CAT exam (both sectional and overall) and is required to go through the AWT and PI rounds conducted by the institute. Additionally, for the final selection of candidates, everything right from their scores in Class 10, Class 12 and graduation are considered along with their CAT percentile, PI an AWT scores, stream in Class 12 and work experience. Candidates seeking admission to the two-year PGP of IIM Ahmedabad must appear in the Common Admission Test (CAT). CAT 2023 (considered for admission to the 2024-26 batch) will take place in November 2023. Candidates who are interested in seeking admission to the 2024-26 batch were able to apply online and register themselves on the official website of CAT after the CAT registration process is open.
