Internship - An investment in professional future

The main purpose of higher education, in general, is to properly train students for future professional success. To accomplish this, an internship plays an important role. To explore these benefits, making student industry ready and to enhance student employability, the New Education Policy, launched by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India has offered undergraduate degrees with internships as an integral part of the curriculum. So, Internship has been fueled by New Education Policy focusing to expose the students for job training in the multidisciplinary field for value addition.

Dr Seema Kelotra is a Faculty of Biotechnology and working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biosciences. She has done PhD in Biochemistry from the School of Biochemistry, DAVV Indore. Her research area is Computational Biology and Biochemistry. Her teaching specialization fields include Biochemistry, Bioinformatics and Biotechnology. She has over 18 years of rich industry and academic experience.
