MAIMS: Where College Life Fuels Growth and Lifelong Bonds
College is an important stage in anyone’s life. It’s a time when students face new academic challenges, personal growth, and transformations. Many students have to shift from their hometown to a new city and settle in a hostel which also adds up to the challenges. Every student has a different college experience. These experiences depend on various things like the institution they are studying in, their course, extracurricular activities in the college, etc.
My experience at MAIMS:
I am currently pursuing a BA.LLB degree from Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies. MAIMS is affiliated with Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University. One of the best aspects of MAIMS is the academic challenges that students face. Here, students are getting exposure to various subjects that help a student to increase their knowledge and intellectual capabilities. The curriculum is designed to encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills. It also helps students to develop strong work ethics.
Additionally, MAIMS also generates a love of learning in the student that extends beyond graduation. This mindset of lifelong learning is essential for personal as well as professional growth. It encourages one to be curious and learn something new every day. It also helps them to adapt to a rapidly changing world.
My life so far at this college has been really growing and it also created a space for me to learn and experiment with new things. Not only this but being in multiple extra-curricular activities has boosted my confidence and has also helped me to gain exposure. Being in BA.LLB, I have also enhanced my knowledge and learnings with respect to the judiciary and jurisdiction norms of India. Apart from this, it teaches us to see the different realities of different people who have been struggling hard to get justice. It tells us about people who levied their lives to uplift that of others. I am also grateful for the friends I have made so far. I am enjoying my time in this phase of my life a lot.
Friendships formed during college years are deeply rooted.
The social aspect of college is equally important. Friendships formed during these years can be lifelong and deeply meaningful. Students in MAIMS are from diverse backgrounds. This helps them to learn about different cultures and perspectives. Sanchi Jain is one of my favorite people in college. I have known her from the very first day.
Lastly, I would like to end my story with the crucial point that the college should offer scholarships to students who fall under the Below-Poverty Line category. Many students have to leave their dream of studying in this college due to the high fees of the college. Providing some scholarships will help them to follow their dreams.
