I had a clear vision of pursuing BBA and specifically from IP university, says Utkarsh
I have had a deep interest in analysing and studying the business models of various industries, shops and even markets in my neighborhood. I also have a deep interest in learning different types of marketing and advertising strategies such as ambush, digital, buzz marketing, creative, etc. So this made me choose Commerce as a stream in my high school. As I also had an interest in basketball, this made me take physical education in place of Mathematics in high school which later on proved to be a great decision of mine.
I had a clear vision of pursuing BBA and specifically from IP university. As a part of its admission process, I had to undergo a CET exam. The exam was moderately difficult but I managed to clear the exam with a good rank. To prepare for the exam, I had to undergo coaching classes but believe me no institute will help you pass unless you self-study. I personally believe that taking coaching classes is someone’s own choice. However, there is enough content available online and offline to prepare for such exams.
This exam is generally divided into four sections – Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and English Language. I found Logical reasoning and English aptitude a bit tricky but practice will do your work.
With some new friends, I try to explore a lot. I travel to new places, attend all college fests and participate in any many cultural events as possible. Alongside, I am also aiming at learning one foreign language before the second year and preparing for CAT exam too.
Presently, I am part of six cultural societies wherein we are responsible for organising events and coordinating all related activities. The faculty at the campus is too friendly and supportive and tries their best in every possible manner to help students become industry-ready.
