The reason to choose Lexicon MILE is its nine-month internship exposure, says Jaya

So, when I was in class 10, everyone in my family had asked me what I am going to choose in class 11. My father told me to take Biology, and become Doctor but I never had any dream to do so because I never had an interest in Biology and Maths.  , As every father wants her Girl to become a doctor and Boy to be a Engineer, my father wish was the same, but unfortunately, I could not complete it and had chosen Commerce  Because when I came to know about the subjects of the commerce, it was really interesting and the most important subject in that which attracted me was Business Studies. So I chose Commerce in class 11.

The most attractive thing which made me choose my current college which is Lexicon Management Institute of Leadership and Excellence is its nine-month internship, and the way all the faculties of MILE treat their students is really very nice.  The other reason why I choose MILE was its Infrastructure is really Beautiful not less than a five-star hotel. Whenever we enter the college we feel like we have entered into a Hotel. Overall whatever a Student needs in a management college to come out as a perfect management student, Lexicon has all that.

I have chosen my course PGDM because in this we really get industry exposure in such a way that we learn all that subjects which in reality companies are adapting in the current time. In PGDM,  syallbus get change every year according to the changing trends in the corporate life.

To secure admission at MILE, one has to go through two rounds that include a Personal Interview and a Case Study round. First was the Personal interview, in which many questions were asked from my educational background and also about my personal views on certain topics. The second round was Case study – In this round, I had to solve the case study given by the college. I cleared both the rounds and got through with the admission process. Also, as a pre-requisite and to be eligible for admission, one has to undergo any of the nationally accepted management qualifying exams, I appeared for MAT exam. I prepared for the exam on my own with the help of resources available on Google. In parallel, I was also selected for Jaipuria University, ISBM Bangalore, Sharda University and Balaji Pune but I chose Lexicon MILE over others for its nine-month internship exposure.

Generally, we have our classes between 9am to 6pm and post that we have various cultural societies and sports clubs to pursue our hobby. The infrastructure also offers lush green gardens and a cafeteria where we spend some of our free time. Though all the faculty members in the college are well experienced in their own domain but I personally like to attend Professor Raju’s classes the most. His style of teaching is very different and interactive.

I have also been presented the award of the woman of the match in the cricket tournament organised by our college. .  Also I am a member of the Media and Marketing Committee of the college.

I started my journey in lexicon last year in 2020.  Being a crucial year I had doubts regarding the exposure and experience that I wanted being a PGDM Student. But after coming into the Lexicon Management Institute of Leadership and Excellence, I feel like all my requirements being a student are being fulfilled. Currently, I am in my first year and have already completed an internship. I have gotten to learn a lot through it. It has helped me to become a more presentable and professional, more confident and pioneering individual. The faculties here are really very helpful. They are always there for us whenever we need them. Everybody here is so nice and polite. We have different committees here to look after everything. We have a sports committee, corporate connect and placement committee, media and marketing committee, internal and external event committee and many more. We get the opportunity to serve and contribute in whichever committees we want. I feel a lot of positive change in me. And I am very sure every student coming to Lexicon will graduate as a professional person as well as a very good human being.

After completing my PGDM, I aspire a good Job in Telecommunication Sector in  Banglore and want to get settled there. After gaining significant experience, I want to start my own business in the retail sector which will be inspired by D-Mart and Big Bazar.
