After my Class 12, I completed my BTech from Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai (2016-2020). From the third year of my graduation, I started having an interest in the Management field and at that time I took the decision that I will pursue my Master's Degree in the field of Management only.

Then I started giving various nationally accepted management qualifying entrance exams. The next and most important process started which is the selection of a good and decent college for pursuing my post-graduation degree. I went through all the resources available online for the selection of the right college for me and after the long hectic process of searching, I came to know about the Pune-based Lexicon Management Institute of Leadership and Excellence which offers a PGDM programme which is Post Graduate Diploma in Management. This two-year programme is more inclined towards the practical aspects of management applications than just the theoretical concepts. In PGDM, the syllabus gets changed every year according to the changing trends in corporate life.

I got admission letters from several other colleges such as IFIM Business School Bangalore, ISBM Pune, KIIT School of Management Bhubaneswar, Christ College Bangalore but I  thought this college will be the best fit for me as per my requirements. At the time when I was planning to take admission was the most critical time because that time Covid-19 started and that time I took my admission. I took admission in this college on April 2020 which was the most critical covid time and for some key unique points I chose this college, which are:

2. Lexicon MILE offers a one-to-one mentor-mentee programme for each of its students. In this programme, every student was allocated under a faculty of that college to guide that student from the inception of their journey in Lexicon MILE. The college follows open culture where students can directly approach any of the faculty members in case of any kind of emergency. The faculties over here are with truckload experience with the finest talent and with the best teaching
3. The most interesting and important cause behind choosing Lexicon MILE is, this college provides more than 10+ additional latest certification course to their every student, which will help them to excel their productivity in different aspect of their life.
4. Lexicon MILE is a student-driven college. Here everything was done by students with the caring guidance of the faculty members. In Lexicon MILE we have different student-driven committees like Media & Marketing Committee, Corporate connect and Placements committee, internal and external event committee, events committee, Sports Committee, etc. and I am part of the Corporate connect and Placements committee.
5. Lexicon MILE not only excels in the academic, but also it keeps in the mind about the overall development of their every Other than academics they frequently organise various webinars, seminars with various renowned personalities in the Corporate world. Keeping in mind about all-round development they also organize yoga sessions, public speaking sessions for their students.
6. Last but not the least, its infrastructure. Whenever we enter college, we feel like we have entered into a paradise. The infrastructure also offers lush green gardens and a cafeteria where we spend some of our free time. Smart classrooms have a smart presentation projector for teaching and separate chairs for students. Overall, whatever a PGDM student needs in a management college to come out as a perfect management student, Lexicon MILE has all the required infrastructure.

Now I am in the First Year of my PGDM journey. In my first year, I already completed my one internship and corporate learning. I learned so many new and creative things regarding the corporates in this internship. This internship helped me to become a more presentable professional, more confident and pioneering individual.

Our regular classes were being conducted online between 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. I spend my time in lectures by interacting with mentors, cracking jokes with mentors and fun activities during lectures. Faculties gave us various group assignments and we friends together make those assignments with great pleasure. This institute follows the trimester pattern with excellent teaching methodologies and encourages one-on-one interaction of students with faculties whenever required with quick feedback.

And I am charmed and overwhelmed with the cordial and coordinated support of versatile faculties of Lexicon MILE. I remember that day when I first landed in Pune, I felt so honored by seeing that Sachin sir from Lexicon MILE came to the airport to pick me up so that I can safely reach to my hostel on that crucial Covid pandemic time.

Overall, now I feel proud of my decision of taking admission to this college because I am enjoying my post-graduation life with lots of innovative and adaptative learning.
