SP Mandali’s WeSchool Engages With MBA Students From Srinagar for ‘Excellence in Action’ Under Umbrella Initiative ‘Young Indians’ by CII and Knowledge Partner Aries Agro Limited
March 1, 2021: In order to recognise creativity and projects across campuses and institutions, first-year MBA students from the National Institute of Technology, Srinagar interacted with different teams from WE School - Prin L N Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research, Mumbai Growth and Research (WeSchool). Students were told about how WeSchool is benchmarking its success and delivering industry-relevant courses. Design Thinking with a man-made approach to address challenges and innovate for product creation, service and user experience has been implemented. They have gone through numerous student ventures, from organic farming to waste collection organisers, learning student-led technologies.
Speaking of the initiative, Dr Rahul Mirchadani, Chairman and Managing Director of Aries Agro Ltd, said "CII-Young Indians have formed a network in 54 cities and Yi Mumbai is proud to link with Yi Srinagar students for organising internship programs, industrial visits, master classes, rural homestays and cultural immersion. This will open the students of Srinagar to endless resources in the financial capital."
WeSchool felicitates 10 global personalities under ‘Friends of India’ initiative
January 17, 2020: WE School - Prin L N Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research, Mumbai organised a unique ‘Friends of India’ social initiative, to felicitate individuals who have contributed significantly to India's socio-economic and cultural development worldwide. The people honoured under this initiative include:

WeSchool hosts Convocation Ceremony for Part-time Master’s Degree and MMS Programme Students
February 7, 2020: WE School - Prin L N Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research, Mumbai hosted convocation ceremony for the students of Masters in Management Studies (MMS) for the 2017-2019 batch and three-year Part-time Master’s degree programme for the 2016-2019 batch. Prominent personalities such as Vice-Chancellor, Mälardalen University, Sweden, Paul Pettersson along with Chairman, WeSchool, S. K. Jain and Group Director, Dr Uday Salunkhe were invited as chief guest for the ceremony. Over 100 students were awarded convocation certificates from the MMS programme, while more than 300 students from the part time master’s degree programme in Marketing, Human Resource, Information Technology and Finance received their degrees. At WeSchool, programmes are designed to fulfil the industry requirement for Managers and Executives with improved competencies and capabilities, to expand and lead various businesses around the globe. The school firmly believes in the confluence of leadership & innovation and aims to instil “Global Citizen Leadership” mindset among its students.
WeSchool Mumbai Receives Award for Innovative Pedagogy
December 8, 2019: WE School - Prin L N Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research, Mumbai has been awarded with National Human Resource Development Network award for its innovative pedagogy. School organised a Rural Immersion Programme to facilitate experiential learning to students. The idea behind the programme was to educate students about the underlying problems of our rural society so they understand the same and plan the initiatives for their improvements.
WeSchool Students Win Chanakya Competition at IIM Indore
November 27, 2019: Post Graduate Management Programme students at WeSchool, Vipul Bhole, Monisha Shah and Mehul Maskara, participated in Chanakya Competition conducted by Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore. This is a national-level consulting case study competition organised by IIM Indore. The team has won the competition for the viable solution they presented with the correct application of management models suitable for a pharmaceutical company.

Welingkar Mumbai has good faculty. The faculty members are helpful and supportive to the students. The college also organizes guest lectures, international guest sessions, and visiting faculty from India and abroad both.
