The internship gives students experience of working with real life business problems, says Deepak

I had completed my XI and XII in the field of commerce as I was interested in business management. So, I thought to contribute my bit in the field of PGDM.

Now coming to the thought of choosing lexicon management institute of leadership and excellence, amongst a number of factors, that makes MILE unique and different from other institutes, the most important is 9-11 months of paid internship. The internship gives students experience of working with real life business problems and an understanding of practical aspects of business also the 14 certification courses which helps add value to our skills and gives weightage to one’s resumes.

In the beginning of my journey for entrance, I had given my MAT Entrance in the year 2019 December with the average score, then processed my application for Lexicon management institute of leadership and excellence for BATCH 20-22, cleared all the stages of interview like telephonic interview, case study and personal interview after clearing all rounds then got my admission. No I had not taken any classes for my preparation after my preparation I had given CAT, MAT AND XAT after all these I cleared my MAT, I was trying for Christ university but due to lack of percentile I was not chosen for the same. Some of the major challenges were coming while opting for the college like call from several consultancy and critizing other colleges so i was having trouble to find accurate information, I had to talk to many seniors and friends regarding the reality of placement driven by every college. Then I came to know about Lexicon mile Pune that it has a great placement and networking now finally I am a part of lexicon mile pune batch 20-22 ready to grab opportunities and achieve new heights of success making lexicon proud and ready to make memories with people who believes in dream like me.

As of now due to COVID-19 Pandemic it has not been possible for the college to conduct offline classes but also the college has managed to engage each student for online classes without affecting our academics plan. We get so involved in our online lectures, assignments, case study and presentation that we get to explore and enhance our self-right sitting at our home. As per my interest I like to attend Digital Marketing sessions as I see my future in the world of Digitalization. At college I am a part of Media Marketing Committee named as Media Maestros where I am responsible to look after LinkedIn and to promote social media handles Going college for me has always been College life for me was not just a change of educational institution. It involved a bigger change of moving from ROURKELA to PUNE with immense nervousness and feeble hopes. However, when I found a place to live and a good college like Lexicon, I took my first step towards initiating a beautiful change. I became independent, responsible, decisive and ready to adjust in any situation. These are the qualities that I owe to my initial days as a college-going student. Being the student of Lexicon the opportunities which I look for a better career are job security and Satisfaction, an investment to the future, networking, make benefit to me and my family, personal development and obviously make more money.

A Goal without plan is just a WISH. My plan is to be an entrepreneur, as I have 2 years of work experience in engineering, and having my own business too, now I want to grab the corporate culture and a professional knowledge about marketing and business analytics, as now I am pursuing my post graduate diploma in management, I find myself more interest in Digital Marketing and UI & UX design , I am looking forward to be a part of startup company of my interest and would love to contribute my creative ideas in digital marketing and UI design of that company website or application.
