To be eligible to pursue BA at Rabindra Bharati University, candidates should have completed Class 12 or equivalent exam in relevant subjects from a recognised educational board. Yes, BA is available at Rabindra Bharati University. The programme is offered under various specialisations through two faculties, namely the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Fine Arts. Students can choose to pursue BA (Hons), BA (Major), or BA (Hons with Research) in these specialisations. The duration of the UG-level programme is four years. Some RBU BA courses include a BA (Hons) in English, BA (Hons) in Vocal Music, BA (Hons) in Economics, etc.

The mode of education at Rabindra Bharati University is full-time. It also has a Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) through which students can pursue MA and MFA programmes in distance learning mode. Admission to CDOE is on first-come-first-serve-basis. Candidates need to fill out the application form and pay the fee for admission to CDOE courses.

Rabindra Bharati University offers a one-year B.Ed programme through the Faculty of Arts. Aspirants who have completed graduation or Hons. graduation or postgraduation from any UGC recognised university with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST) either at UG or PG level can apply for RBU Kolkata B.Ed programme. Aspirants will be shortlisted for B.Ed based on the merit in the last qualifying exam.

RBU offers a plethora of courses across its three faculties. Rabindra Bharati University (RBU) has three faculties, namely Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, and Faculty of Visual Arts, that offer UG, PG, and doctoral programmes.
