Dissatisfied with my experience here as the faculty didn't encourage the students much.
Placements: No placements were conducted or were even given a thought by the committee. No such arrangements were made for placements. Students were not encouraged to pursue post graduation with the same subject; they don't even think about the same. So, I cannot comment on placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college wasn't very fascinating. The classrooms of the geography department were congested. However, classrooms were nice and tidy, and they were never dirty. The toilets were uncleaned. The quality of food provided in the canteen was poor. There were well-established labs. The infrastructure is old, and it might collapse anytime. It would give a vibe of a gloomy environment.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and knowledgeable. Their techniques were quite effective. Even the lab assistants were very helpful and cooperative all the time. The office staff members were very nice and were always willing to help in any manner.

This is a heritage college. Teachers are very much helpful. The infrastructure is developing.
Placements: This college does not provide you with the placement, but if you graduated from this college, then you can carry forward your career to higher study like MA/M.Sc. Approximately, 80% of students took a chance for the higher study, and others, they just try for the better job in their comparative field.
Infrastructure: This is a very old college. Three seasons of classes are held here, morning, mid-day and evening. Wi-Fi facilities are available here, but professor just uses this, and sometimes, they provided it for students. Annual games are held every year. One general and one girls' common room is also found here. Basically, indoor games like carrom, table tennis are played, but we missed a huge playground.
Faculty: We are very grateful for learning from the teachers of this college. They are very helpful and qualified. Sometimes, we found lack of infrastructure, but they do their best. Basically, subject wise, the student to the teacher ratio is different. The study is mainly based on board method, and sometimes it is digital.
Other: Every year, a huge fest is held on the college campus. Also, student union organised a freshers programme. The campus is situated just beside the college street, so the connectivity is good. Sports, cultural programme is also held at this college.

Eligibility criteria: A 10+2 or equivalent qualification in the Arts stream from a recognized educational Board. Qualification of a relevant entrance exams and a round of interview as part of the admission process of some institutes offering the course.
