My little opinion on Rabindra Bharati University (RBU).

Placements: If you are a good student, you will get placement; otherwise, you will never get any placement. It must be noted that this is a government college, so here you may receive scholarships, but placement is not guaranteed. My course subject is Political Science, which is good for competitive exams, political analysis, etc.

Infrastructure: Yes, this college has 2-3 hostels for students, and you can bring your parents for a 1-2 day stay. Speaking about the hostel food, I must say it's not too bad. There are 3–4 canteens here, which I think is a good aspect of our college.

Faculty: I must say all teachers are helpful, and all seniors are also very supportive. They are always there for you. If you face any problem, don't hesitate to approach your seniors or teachers. I am sure they will help you at any cost. My B.A. course will be completed in 2025, and I need to pass 6 semester exams. Then I will be eligible for higher education, like M.A.

Other: Here you can see the biggest festival, called Basanta Utsab. This is very famous in Kolkata.

It is a good university for B.A. in Political Science.

Placements: If you want to get a placement at this university, you need at least 70%. The university offers an average salary of Rs. 18000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 12,000 per month.

Infrastructure: If you choose this course, you will get many facilities, like free Wi-Fi, good classrooms, and free library books for fourteen days. If you want to stay in a hostel, you must first fill out a hostel application and obtain a distance certificate, which you can get from your BDO office center.

Faculty: All teachers are helpful. They are experienced. Their teaching methods are too good for us. This is a good university for B.A. in Political Science. All students are industry-ready. Every year, they conduct two semester exams, which are easy to pass.

Other: I chose this course because I want to be a political science teacher. It helps to know about our country's democracy.

RBU was established in 1962 to mark the birth centenary of the legendary poet RABINDRANATH TAGORE.

Placements: I got 91% on the higher secondary exam and placed in my political Science course. It is too easy for every student to get placement in this university. All students can apply here to get admission. It's a Government university. You will get a scholarship minimum of 12000 rupees for this course.

Infrastructure: My political department is too good, like other departments. Here all the senior brothers are too helpful and friendly. So you never bore in here. In this university, one particular thing is the drama and dance departments. So you can see many talented actor-actress, singers, and dancers.

Faculty: In this university, all sir/professors are always helpful, highly qualified and knowledgeable. However, here pass percentage is 25%, which is too easy for every student. This university was established in 1962 to mark the birth centenary of the legendary poet Rabindra Nath Tagore.

Other: I choose this course because this course/sub will help me on comparative exams like WBCS UPSC.

Rabindra Bharati University is known for vocal arts, fine arts departments this is very good thing.

Placements: A student need minimum 80 to 90 percentage to be placed in my course. There are no salary offered because this is a government university and here if you get good marks in exams then you will get higher salary jobs. If you choose arts stream then you will get 12000 rupees package which can help your study. Average students got internships from my course and they get jobs in many companies.

Infrastructure: Rabindra Bharati University has two libraries and those are too good quality. There you can get many types of books and if you want university has free Wi-Fi then you need to fill a form so you will get a Wi-Fi password. Good quality classroom, smart classrooms, big monitor etc. This university's hostel quality is not bad and here have a minimum of 5000 to 60000 students are present. Their food quality is acceptable.

Faculty: This university has a very good quality of professors. They are very intelligent and knowledgeable and their behaviour is too good like friends you can share your all problems with them. I'm sure that they can help you. However, students are not industry ready.

Other: I want Crack WBCS exam that's why I choose this course and this will be my optional subject. This subject B.A. Hons course is best thing to know about Indian democracy, foreign policy, many articals, powers of ministers, president etc. Honestly, if I say the improvement in this college then I will say about online admission process. It's very slow then other colleges. This university is in Kolkata and here we celebrate a very famous event which is very famous all over Kolkata city which name is BASANTA UTSAB.
