The best college from my experience.

Faculty: The course curriculum at the university, followed in all the colleges, was amazing. The study of history became more thematic as soon as I entered undergraduate. This helped us understand history beyond just wars and kings. Faculty delivered the lectures professionally, as they were trained to do so, and they had quite good academic experience. They gave us assignments that we had to complete, and teachers kept us updated with regular updates on subjects. They were friendly with the students. I ...

The college curriculum is not per industry standards.

Faculty: Some teachers are helpful and some are not. No, the course curriculum doesn't make students industry-ready. In the era of AI, they are using manual work for any kind of project. Students are not ready for industrial work. There was no advanced lab advanced computer for designing. Yes, semesters are so easy. The passing percentage is 99.99%.

The students, faculty, staff and everyone is good and sociable and friendly.

Faculty: The faculty members are good; this is my first year, and I quite like the faculty there. Some faculty are strict, and some are funny. Faculty members are very approachable, as they said if you have any problem related to ragging or studies, you can talk to them. I think everything is good among teachers and students. There are exams held in the name of mid 1, mid 2, and ending sem.

Overall, it is a great university to pursue an MA in geography in India.

Faculty: I think our professors are very knowledgeable and helpful. A few have earned their PhDs overseas. In the classroom, renowned instructors like Subrata Mondal, Sharat Chandra Misra, and Amar Kumar Chatterjee contribute their knowledge and experience. To get us ready for the industry, the program is relevant and useful. Our tests, which are fair and easy to handle, are conducted every two semesters.
