Rabindranath Tagore founded Viva Bharati University, which is a central research university and an Institute of National Importance in West Bengal, India. It embodies the Tagorean idea of the development of the full person. The University is granted the designation of a unitary, residential, and academic institution. Viva Bharati University is approved by UGC and is accredited by NAAC with a B grade. Viva Bharati University has been ranked 98 among the top 100 universities in India by NIRF 2022. The courses offered by the Institute are B.A. M.A. BFA B. Des B.Sc. MSW and many more. The mode of admission to the Institute is CUET or other entrance exams. There are 12 institutes that offer undergraduate, graduate, master's, and doctoral programmes.

Admission to the UG programmes will be done through the entrance test called CUET in Visva Bharati University, and admissions to postgraduate programmes will be done on the performance of the candidates in the entrance examination. Given below is the application process for the Visva Bharati University West Bengal for the year 2024:

• Candidates who are interested in applying at the Visva Bharati University, West Bengal should visit the online application system of the Visva Bharati University, West Bengal which is visvabharatiadmission.samarth.edu.in
• Candidates can fill out the application form
• Candidates are then required to upload the latest scanned passport–size photo and their signature
• Then, candidates are required to pay the application fees

CUET result 2026 will be declared tentatively in first week of July. Candidates who will appear for the exam can download their CUET scorecard online when released. The link to download the CUET scorecard will be available at CUET results 2026. Candidates will be required to enter the login credentials to view the CUET 2026 scorecard online. CUET scores are used for admission to various universities/colleges that candidates has applied for while filling the application form. Candidates must download and take the print of the CUET 2026 results when released.

Candidates can apply for admission in the BSc course at VBU by July. This is the deadline to fill out the application form. 

Aspirants who will be appearing in CUET UG 2024 exam will be required to participate in the counselling / admission process of any University / Institution / organisation even though they have not applied for that University / Institution / organisation in the Online Application Form of CUET UG - 2024. Notably, aspirants must fulfil the eligibility criteria of that course of University / Institution / organisation where they are aspiring to take admission. The application form of NEST 2024 was released by exam conducting authorities on the official website on April 3, 2024. Applicants are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling the form. 

Earlier the NEST 2024 application form was about to be released on March 30, 2024 but later it was postponed. Students must check the details of all other important events such as admit card date, exam date, answer key date and result dates.

Yes, VBU accepts CUET scores for admission to the UG courses. Candidates can appear for the exam and achieve a valid aggregate in the same. They must also ensure fulfilling the eligibility criteria required for admission.
