An Indian Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree is not valid for direct clinical pharmacist licensure in the USA. The U.S. requires a professional Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) for clinical practice. Because a standard Indian B.Pharm is a 4-year course, it does not meet the minimum 5-year foreign curriculum requirement set by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP)
