Q:   Is it better to choose JIIT Noida (CSE) over lower branches at government colleges like DTU or NSUT?
A:

This decision of selecting JIIT Noida (CSE) over lower branches at DTU or NSUT depends on your career goals and interest-

  • Branch Priority: If you are passionate about coding and software development, choosing CSE at JIIT is generally recommended over a non-tech branch (like Civil or Environmental) at Delhi Technological University (DTU) or Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT).
  • College Brand: DTU and NSUT carry a higher "government brand" value, which can be beneficial for non-tech roles (consulting) or higher studies. JIIT offers a very strong coding culture and tech-focused exposure that rivals these institutes for software engineering roles.
