Yes, candidates who wish to apply for BTech courses at UPES Dehradun do not need to appear in CUET-UG to qualify for admissions. In addition to the CUET-UG, candidates can also apply for BTech admissions through JEE Mains, SAT, UPESEAT or in some cases, through their Class 12 board exam scores.
The UPES BTech curriculum integrates different facets of Technology and Healthcare. In this programme, students get to study various theoretical and practical subjects. They are also required to do an internship as part of the curriculum. This provides students with an opportunity to get hands-on experience before the on-campus placements.
For getting admission in the BTech course at GBPUAT it is necessary for the students to give the JEE Mains exam. Additionally, minimum 45% aggregate in the class 12 exam is required. After the result declaration, the students are advised to sit for the counselling held by UTU and take admission as per the allotted seat in the counselling process.
