Review of BBA in travel and tourism management.
Placements: Placements at Christ University are good. A lot of good companies come to recruit students. In the previous year, companies like DE Shaw and PhonePe visited the campus. For BBA tourism and travel management, a lot of good tourism companies come to the campus to recruit students like Cox and Kings, Make My Trip, etc.
Infrastructure: This course is now offered on the BGR campus, not on the main campus. The campus is built well, but it is small. The campus doesn't have any parks or playgrounds. The hostel on this campus is only for boys, and the food is not included in the hostel. You have to buy it from the canteen every day.
Faculty: Faculty members for this course are good. They are very professional and very experienced. The college is very strict from the exam point of you. Every month, we have submissions in the name of CIA. If we fail in a CIA, we have to pay Rs.10,000 to repeat a CIA.

Really good infrastructure facilities. Pretty good hostel facilities.
Placements: 70% of students get placed. The highest package would be 1.6 Lacs per annum, the lowest 1.2 L per annum. Top recruiting companies include Walmart, Accenture, JD Morgan etc. Roles offered were HR analysts, Business strategic analysts, Business presentation analysts, etc.
Infrastructure: Pretty good hostel facilities and good canteen facilities with unlimited Wi-Fi. All types of food available within the campus. Labs are built with all needed specializations and the library is available for everyone. Sports courts and a pretty large ground for all activities.
Faculty: The teachers help you prepare for your career. Teaching quality is quite good. Not all teachers are perfect but on average, the teaching quality is comparatively good. All the teachers who teach you are qualified enough with Masters and Ph.D degree.

I had a great time at Christ, and there was nothing I didn't like.
Placements: We had to look out for internships ourselves. The duration of internships differs from department to department. But a lot of good companies like DE Shaw, EY, Tomas Cook, Cox and Kings, Accenture, Deloitte, PWC, IBM, and many more visited the campus for placements for our batch and the previous batch.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was pretty good. The college has a lot of canteens. There are around 6-7 canteens with various different small shops in all. They are good, and there are plenty of options. A lot of attention is paid to sports and various other art forms like dance, music, theatre, drama, street plays, painting, etc. There are different dustbins for wet and dry waste across the college. A lot of other environment-friendly activities are conducted. Even we have a massive library with desktops and lots of books. The library in the central block is a piece of art.
Faculty: Teachers at Christ are amazing. Obviously strict but then they are very regular. Even students were regular due to the stringent attendance requirements. They are very well qualified, approachable, smart, creative and helpful. We didn't have industrial visits for our course. But courses like regular BBA had industrial visits. The course curriculum was indeed well taught and useful.
Other: A lot of departmental fests are conducted which are taken very seriously. The campus crowd was lovely. Everyone is mostly nice. We had certificate courses in various fields.

Good infrastructure and facilities. Helpful faculty, and satisfactory placements.
Placements: Placements were very useful for the students and almost 40% of my batchmates were selected. The companies related to travel and tourism such as Orange county, Cox and kings, also visited the campus along with various other finance and management related companies.
Infrastructure: The campus has spacious classrooms with good ventilation, one can find all the necessary and any required book in the library (realted to academics, arts, sports etc. ), computer labs whenever necessary, medical room in any emergency cases, and different courts and grounds for different games and other sports like football, basketball, hockey, tennis etc. And a variety of food places.
Faculty: The teachers are approachable, well qualified, knowledgeable and always helpful. The teaching quality is also good. Projectors are used whenever necessary. Also other teaching techniques are used by the teachers whenever required for any specific subjects.
Other: Each deanery have their own fests every year. And intercollegiate fests are also conducted. Sports people also get various opportunities during the fests.

The best institution in India to pursue degree in commerce field.
Placements: Every year, reputed companies visit the campus for placements. Placement percentage on the campus is good. The students get good opportunities and exposures. Placements are obviously one of the strongest areas of Christ University. The students are well-prepared in different activities so that the students can crack interviews.
Infrastructure: Christ has three different campuses in Bangalore. Main campus and Kengari campus are big and environment-friendly. There are proper hostel and sports facilities. Libraries are great on the campus. There are many cafeterias, and the quality of food is also good. On the other hand, Bannerghatta campus is small, but it is well-equipped with all the facilities.
Faculty: The faculty members are good, and all are PhD holders. Their teaching methods are modern, and an emphasis is given to practical knowledge. Every curriculum is different in its way, and it is designed as per the latest need. It helps the students to gain vast knowledge.
Other: The college is strict with its attendance and discipline factors, which annoys the students a bit but that will help in future. There are various clubs and fests of all kind. You can join anything at which you are interested in. Participating in a fest of Christ is a great learning opportunity for the students.

Great journey in Christ, satisfied.
Placements: Placement is average but highly competitive; it is tough to get placed as more than 1000 students start sitting initially, mostly it is on the luck of the students. Even the students who are good at studies sometimes don’t get placed. Average package is 3.5 LPA which is satisfactory for starters in BBA. Tourism companies even offer an average package of 2.5 LPA which is very less.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really great, things which christite provide are great. We have great auditoriums, seminar halls, media and production, sports facilities, green campus canteens and practical labs. Best is hotel management. They have got separate kitchen where they practice luxury rooms also. A lot of canteens, Wi-Fi and smart classes are provided.
Faculty: I love my tourism faculty. They are all cool and funny; they treat you like friends and few of them often hang out with us outside the college. They all are good experienced and knowledgeable persons with great industrial connections. The curriculum is normal, can’t say it is great or poor. It is ok. But I think lots of things could be added, 7 hours of college and frequent industrial visits and guest lectures from industry people are provided.
Other: The college life is great, but it is strict. Sometimes it feels as if you are in school. You have to be in formals; always ID cards should be hanging on your neck, girls can’t wear leggings and have to carry dupatta. No colouring on the hair or big tattoos is not allowed. Give lots of opportunities to make your name in college.

A great journey in the college and satisfied with what I have choosen.
Placements: The placement opportunities are good and can sit in any place that is for all BBA varients. You should also understand that in tourism industry starting package is not that great but once you enter you may grow rapidly in your career. The average tourism package is 2.5LPA, but we can see a lot of tourism alumni who are now at the high position in tourism companies such as Thomas cook, Mercury Travels, etc.
Infrastructure: There are a huge building and great canteen. The facilities like a hostel for boys and girls are provided. A good sports facilities, more than 75-acre of campus, an environment-friendly campus which is calm and peaceful, good labs and resources, smart-classes, huge parking area are available. Even with the heavy crowd, the campus looks great.
Faculty: Tourism faculty members are very helpful, and they have good connections. We have national level fests of our own and curriculum is also good. In the final year, you get to choose specialisation course in finance and tourism marketing. Good and interesting subject are included. Overall, they are great.
Other: The Christ give you really good exposure, especially tourism is great compared to another college that offers such similar course. The campus life is awesome and lots of activities to engage you, if you want to get into the tourism industry, then this course from Christ is helpful.

The college is not that great, but it is okay and a bit disappointed.
Placements: The placement is not good for tourism students. It's like no money, and there is also no guarantee that tourism companies will come to hire. In a year, 10 companies come to hire the students but sometimes not even 5 companies visit the college. It’s better if you try from outside, initially salary is low, but future is promising for betterment in the salaries.
Infrastructure: Not even a single person will disagree with the fact that Christ infrastructure is bad or not good. We have got the best infrastructure and students always boost it. We see many colleges just have a huge building with no good facilities, but Christ has everything such as sports, labs, Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, etc.
Faculty: The faculty is good, but course curriculum is bad. It is a way less than what we were expected particularly of tourism. I wanted to get into the airline industry. For that, the college offers IATA diploma which is great for me. As a tourism student, it is a necessity.
Other: I am an introvert, so it is hard for me to mingle around with people, so that is why I feel it is overcrowded and on big campus we often get tired, no network of mobile phones also. It's difficult to survive on such big campus and to make your name famous in college. Found good connections in Christ which will be lifelong.
