The syllabus of the HPBOSE 12th Biology includes Biology and Human Welfare, Biotechnology and its Applications, Ecology, and Environment, Reproduction, and so on. HPBOSE Class 12 Biology Exam Pattern and Scheme of Examination

According to HPBOSE 12th exam pattern, the exam duration for HPBOSE Class 12 Biology is three hours. The total marks allocated for the examination is 100 of which 75 marks are for theory paper (including 15 marks for internals) and 25 marks are for the practical assessment.

The syllabus of HPBOSE Class 12 Biology is vast and focused on the study of various environmental issues and their solutions. The students preparing for HPBOSE Class 12 Biology exam need to understand and learn the basics to secure a high score in the subject. Some of the important tips to prepare for HPBOSE Class 12 Biology exam are discussed below:

  1. Know the exam pattern: It is always important for every student to know the exam pattern before starting the preparation. This helps in understanding the major topics and the marks allotted, which in turn helps in prioritising the topics for preparation. The students can refer to the exam pattern (as given above) to prepare for HPBOSE Class 12 Biology exam.
  2. Set a target and make a plan: The students should always make a schedule to cover each topic of the syllabus. Formulate a chapter-wise study plan and then start a quick reading of the chapters one after another. Read all the set chapters loudly at first,  as this helps in understanding the basics of each topic.
  3. Prepare short notes: After quick reading, start going through all the topics again, at a slower pace, to make notes. Jot down all the difficult terms on a separate paper.
