Tamil Nadu 12th Result 2025 Grading system: The Directorate of General Education, Tamil Nadu (TNDGE) has prescribed the TN 12th grading system 2025 which consists of grades from A1 to E1. According to the Tamil Nadu 12th grading system 2025, A1 grade is awarded for those who achieve 91 marks or more. The TN 12th result 2025 was released on May 8, 2025. 

The TN 12th board exams were held in March 2025.

For vocational subjects consisting of practicals only Students should secure a minimum of 20 marks out of 75 marks in the practical.

Tamil Nadu HSC Result 2025: Marking Pattern

The TN 12th paper is divided into four sections. Check the TN 12th marking pattern below.

  • The first section consists of 15 marks. It has multiple choice questions.
  • The second section consists of 2-mark questions. The maximum marks a student can acquire are 12.
  • The third section has three-mark questions and the maximum marks in this section is 18.
  • The students are required to answer long answer type 5 questions under section 4, with each question containing 5 marks.

Schools do not have the right to withhold admit card of the studnets for TN class 12th board exam. TN 12th admit card is issued by the Directorate of Government Examination, Tamilnadu. You can reach out to the TN board, if the school do not provide the admit card.
