How to Prepare for Tamil Nadu 12th exam 2026?

Solve question papers

The students must practice and solve old question papers and the available TN 12th sample papers. Practicing question papers will improve the speed of solving problems. It builds confidence in the students. It will also help them to reduce their anxiety and fear during the actual exam.

Revision

The last few days of the examination are often stressful for the students. Therefore, the students should spend their time revising rather than studying. Tamil Nadu 12th exam marking scheme is as follows. Each subject carries 100 marks in total. Subjects with practicals are marked as 70 marks for theory, 20 marks for practical and 10 marks for internal assessment. Students should be aware of the marking scheme. The TN 12th paper is divided into four sections. The first section consists of 15 marks. It has multiple choice questions. The second section consists of 2-mark questions. The maximum marks a student can acquire are 12. The third section has three-mark questions and the maximum marks a student can get are 18. The students are required to answer 5 questions under section 4, with each question containing 5 marks
