 Students preparing for the TN Plus two exam 2026 should know the TN 12th exam pattern 2026.The total marks for each subject is 100 marks out of which 70 is for theory, 10 for internal and 20 for practical exam. TN 12th 2026 exam pattern helps to know the mark distribution of the TN 12th board exam. 

TN 12th Pattern 2026: Passing Criteria

Minimum mark for a pass in each subject is 35 out of 100 marks subjected to the following conditions.

  • For languages and for the subjects which do not have practical, student must have secured a minimum of 25 out of 90 marks.
  • For the subjects consisting of theory and practical, student must have secured a minimum of 15 out of 70 marks in theory and must have appeared for practical.
  • For vocational subjects consisting of practical only, student must have secured a minimum of 20 out of 75 marks in practical.

  • Reach exam hall at least 30 minutes before commencement of TN 12th exams 2026.
