Admission criteria to National Institute of Technology Calicut is primarily entrance based and is different for all UG and PG programmes. To get into UG programmes, the eligibility criteria is the minimum aggregate in Class 12 or equivalent, along with entrance exams. However, the eligibility criteria to get into PG programmes is graduation in any discipline (this may vary from course to course), along with entrance exams.

LEAD College of Management courses are offered to students at the PG level, mainly in the field of Business Management. The college offers an MBA programme to students as its flagship course. It is offered to students for a duration of 2 years in full-time mode and across several specialisations such as Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, and Tourism.

Saintgits Institute of Management offers MBA based on valid entrance exam scores. The Institute accepts minimum aggregate of 60% in graduation and valid scores in accepted entrance exams. This university is a good choice for the marine engineering course. Placements: If one is going for marine engineering then it is a good choice to get into IMU Kolkata (MERI/DMET). For my batch before passing out from college, about 50% of cadets were placed and the count is increasing day by day.
