It is an average college for students with a pleasant atmosphere.

Placements: In our college, almost 40-60% of students are placed in our course. The average salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. Top recruiting companies visit our campus. Almost 60% of students get internships.

Infrastructure: Our college has a well-developed infrastructure. The food served in the hostel is not good. Wi-Fi is not available throughout the campus. Medical facilities are not available. The quality of the food is not good. More grounds are available but few students play games. More students play only cricket and football.

Faculty: In our college, faculty members are less in our civil department. Their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are difficult. Our teachers help increase our knowledge.

Absolutely dissatisfied with this college.

Placements: The college did not provide placements for our department. It is such a worst college in arranging placements, and they don't care about students placements. They care only about money. Only software companies visit the campus for placements, but they didn't hire anyone. My friends from other departments got selected, but until now, they have not received call letter.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average, neither that good nor that bad. There are good labs present with all needed tools. They are having all types of machines for testing, conducting experiments, projects, etc. One huge library is present which is very much useful for all students. Even a huge indoor stadium is present which can accomodate the whole college.

Faculty: Faculty members in our department are the worst of its kind. They are not at all eligible to take for grade 12 itself. They don't know proper English. They have no site knowledge. Some staff members don't know what is engineering itself. Only senior staffs, i.e., 3-4 persons are very good. They are completely professional.

Other: Some events are conducted in the college. I enjoyed with my friends.

The infrastructure and facilities are good. The college has good faculty.

Placements: No core companies come to the college for placements, but the computer science, information technology and other circuit branches will get the job in their core companies. Also, the call centres, consultant and other unrelated companies are coming to my college. In that, only some students are placed.

Infrastructure: In our college, we have good infrastructure like full of ventilated classrooms and good transport facility by the college. We have high-tech lab facility in our college, good encouragement for sports and also the big library facility. The only drawback is that the Wi-Fi is not available in both college and hostel.

Faculty: The faculty are well-educated and have good communication skills and also good interaction with students. In this college is an autonomous based so the syllabus will be changed as per the current technology in the industry. The student-faculty ratio of our college is 4:1.

Adhiyamaan was a good college for civil engineering years before now its not.

Placements: The placements are just for namesake. Most of the companies just select them for showing numbers, but the reality is 0 placements. During placement, we have high hopes that we would get placed, the reality was for civil engineering we had zero companies interviewing us. Thus we went for software and BPO placements provided by other departments. Even after placing we didn't get call letter it been over a year since we got placed and the placement cell is inefficient they don't care about our issue even after complaining several times. Regarding placement, I would rate Adhiyamaan as zero.

Infrastructure: Adhiyamaan is one of the largest in the state. It has one of the largest libraries and has a great collection of books. Wi-Fi is only provided at the library for laptops only. When coming to sports, it is the best, has every facility and great maintenance. The labs and equipment provided are top notches. I was provided with the total station which is the latest equipment for surveying. The college provided great facilities. As I was day scholar I don't know about the hostel, all I know is food is terrible in boys hostel.

Faculty: Adhiyamaan is autonomous college, so college prepares their curriculum based on anna university. The curriculum was good as most of it was same as anna university curriculum. But the faculty members teaching them were bad. Only 40 percent of the syllabus will be taught as its autonomous, and they prepare question paper they would only ask a question from those 40 percent and rest is left out. Our HOD was not concerned about anything other than money. We paid thousands of rupees in the name of some software that they didn't even teach instead they gave a certificate station we had completed the course, and our HOD fired good faculty members for some reasons we didn't even know. Now our department doesn't even have good faculty members who know the subject and can make us understand them.

Other: Government and college provide scholarships doesn't provide anything. Instead, they get 15000 non-billed amount from every student on top of our fees.

Good infrastructure and lab facilities with bad usage.

Placements: There is lack of placements in the core companies. Only 20% of the students were placed in the non-core companies like finance, etc. Last three years, there are no placements in the core companies, students use to take the off-campus interviews. HOD tells much big construction company is going to come, but I haven't seen till now.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is only available in the library, but other infrastructures like labs, classroom, library, sports are good. But there is no proper ground for the handball, and there is lack of money and proper food support for sports members. The college hostel food quality is quite bad even though they buy high-quality raw materials.

Faculty: Good course curriculum, but wrong way of teaching. We have all types of survey instrument like DGPS. They are asking extra money for using it. There is a lack of outer and industrial exposure. Seven good teaching faculty members are leaving this year, so from the next year, and there will be a shortage of faculty.

Adhiyamaan college of engineering.

Placements: Only 1 or 2 company will be coming for the placements, but they don't prefer jobs to the students. For only formalities, they come and select them. Other than this, only marketing-oriented companies will be coming, but they select according to their convenience, like if they want some language, then they select initially them those who know that language but not by the student's knowledge and skills.

Infrastructure: The college campus looks very good as like the Anna University. All the facilities are available. Some lab equipment like the total station, DGPS, etc., in the civil oriented equipment, are available on the campus. The classrooms will also look pretty amazing including the fans, lights etc. The hostel rooms are good, but the food is not up to the mark.

Faculty: The availability of the faculty members is fewer here. They are knowledgeable, but because of unavailability, they are taking classes continuously, so they are confused and change the teaching methods for all the classes. But they are free minded, and they are dealing students like friends.

Mostly satisfied with the circuit department for good placements.

Placements: The placement is good for circuit department students. Computer and software companies give a lot of opportunities to the circuit department. For the non-circuit department, the placement is low, and some finance company and BPO companies give open opportunity to all. The civil department faces a lot of problem in placement.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good for both circuit and non-circuit departments. Computer and CAD labs are fully furnished with AC, and machinery laboratory and circuit laboratory are also very good. There is a separate building for circuit and non-circuit department with a separate building for the library with 2 floors and separate grounds for cricket, hockey, volleyball, basketball, tennis, football. The quality of classroom and seminar halls are very good.

Faculty: Most of the faculty are well qualified and well knowledgeable and very much helpful for students to develop their career. Separate classes were done for students for placement, and some staff from IT companies have also trained the students for their projects. Most of the works were shown as practical for students.

Other: The laboratories are well furnished for the students' need. There are 3 canteens, and one canteen for the staff. A bank and post office are also on the college campus with an ATM. Then, in the ground, there is a gallery also for the audience, and one big indoor stadium is also there.

Best college to get just a B.E degree. Attendance percentage can be corrected

Placements: 10% students may get the job and only 2 core companies visited. The internship was not allowed by the department and they don't care about your placements. Some students are placed in only marketing jobs in a life insurance company. I think only 12 students only placed in core companies in my department.

Infrastructure: It has a good infrastructure and library. The college buildings are just like a maze. It takes months to find which corridors are connected together. I just amused how the engineer structurally solved this type of a building plan. But the hostel and the college are neat, clean, and provide a hygienic environment. You can't complain about them. They may not be excellent, but are superb.

Faculty: Faculty members have average knowledge. Some of them very poor but act as scientists. There are good lab facilities. You should be self-motivated throughout your academic tenure to learn more. You have the freedom to bunk and roam around on the campus. Some faculty members are good in teaching and manners.

Other: If you want just the B.E degree, you can go there and enjoy the college life. Attendance can be corrected by any means and I think you know the way how our system and government work. Getting a degree, clearing arrears and making no history of arrears also can be done by the same method.
