Doesn't give you college vibes.
Placements: As this college is not the main campus of PJTSAU, it is a sub-campus, and there may be limited scope for placements here. Students may need to explore external job opportunities. The average salary offered could range from 3 to 4 LPA. It's unlikely that students would secure internships, especially if they apply externally and if the opportunities are unrelated to the B.Sc. course.
Infrastructure: The library is available and in good condition. The laboratories are also good enough. Wi-Fi is only available in the academic block. The hostel mess is student-run, and there is no canteen facility, only a few shops. Medical facilities are not so good, with a doctor visiting once or twice a month. However, sports and games facilities are good enough.
Faculty: Teachers are not knowledgeable up to the mark, except for a few. Yes, the course curriculum is very relevant. Semesters are difficult, with pass marks set at 50 percent of the maximum marks. Even though the pass percentage is good, around 80 percent, examinations are strict compared to other degree colleges.
Other: No fests or events take place regularly. However, scholarships are available. Extracurricular activities are limited to sports and occasional visits. In the third year, there will be a tour organized.

    Students also asked

Q:   What is the career scope of BSc Agriculture?
    A:

Agriculture graduates can find themselves a job in research firms, government agencies, agri-business firms, the farming sector, and can also pursue a master's in the relevant field to expand their careers into the academic side. A BSc in agriculture can also act as a foundation for government exams like UPSC. In a country as populous as India, the vegetative practices and the agriculture sector as a whole are only expected to grow from this point on.

Q:   Can I become an Agricultural Entrepreneur after B.Sc Agriculture?
    A:

Of course, Agriculture and allied sector not only remained insulated from economic slowdown or pandemic but has registered better growth than other sectors. Other industries have faced the problem of downsizing during a pandemic but the agriculture sector remained aloof from lay-offs, pay cuts and forced resignations. There will never be a downturn or slow down when it comes to feeding the world population.
