Honest opinion about Ahmednagar college.

Placements: This college does not provide any type of placement. We were given assurance at the time of admission, but in the third year, the faculty said that your batch is not worth for placement it can get. It has been happening for 3 consecutive years.

Infrastructure: The boys' hostel was just like a guest house, and the girls' hostel was okay, but there were no common rooms or gyms on the campus. The classrooms were so outdated that they had limited seats. There were 150 students, and sometimes we had to bring a chair from another class to sit on because there was no space, and they don't do any division either.

Faculty: The teachers were good, but not all. The rest of them were just master-pass students from the college. Teachers teach from the old textbook of the 2019 pattern. But teachers were very good, supportive, and cooperative in everything. Some teachers had 10 years of experience and had good knowledge, from which we can gain proactive knowledge.

Other: I would suggest you to take admission in another college. The crowd here is not good, and there are frequent disturbances, including riots and fights, instead of studying.

Absolutely satisfied with the environment in college: good placements, helpful staff, and good infra

Placements: In my college, the average package offered in my course is 2-3 LPA. The top recruiting companies that visit my college are IBM and Wipro. The percentage of students that got internships is 98, and 98% of students are placed in startup companies every year.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi range in my college is too good. There is no problem with the internet connection. Classrooms and libraries are always clean, and you feel fresh when you enter class. The facilities in hostels are of the highest quality, and the food served in hostels is good. The medical facilities are also very good.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are good at teaching. The semester exam in my college is not so difficult or easy; it has a medium level. The pass level is 40+ marks, which makes my students industry-ready. They teach us real market knowledge.

Other: I like the teaching field, so why choose this field? I am interested in technology. The best thing about a course is that you are learning at every stage and getting knowledge about everything.

It is actually good, and I recommend students to get admission to this college.

Placements: Maybe 30-40% of students get placements in my college. I do not know the highest salary package offered, but the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA, and it is an average package for a fresher. I recommend students get admission to this college for placements.

Infrastructure: Our college provides labs, Wi-Fi, library, etc. There is no problem in my college with facilities. I always use the college's Wi-Fi, library, and labs, and it is totally a good facility. I recommend students get admission because the facilities are really good.

Faculty: Teaching quality is good, but not much because they do not understand students. They have to understand that not every student has the same level of brain and that they have to treat everyone differently. There is something I don't like that they talk about gender quality, but they do not apply it.

Review of Ahmednagar College.

Placements: There is no placement; they only provide you with classes. You will be attending classes, and then you will get a job from the classes. They give you proper knowledge, and only students get a chance to educate themselves free from classes. The college is good but not the teachers.

Infrastructure: It is good now they are working on it, like the college infrastructure and hostel they can do better on it, and even the classrooms, they can do better labs and canteen section. The library is good. I have not seen medical facilities yet, and Wi-Fi is also slow.

Faculty: Teachers are worst, they are only reading the books, not teaching us properly, and even complain to HOD if you're not listening. Teachers even do not check your book and not give marks properly, taking revenge while giving the marks, and always complain to the sir.

Other: Course is good but teacher are the worst .

Our college provided good placements in 2019 and supportive faculty members.

Placements: Around 75% of the students got placed from college. They provided a good teacher for placements, and our HOD sir was supporting students a lot to get placed in top companies. Our college is the only one which provides placements and gives support to students for growth their growth.

Infrastructure: The college provided facilities like Wi-Fi, computer labs for departments with high quality of computers. Classrooms were in very good condition. There was a very suitable environment for students, and the connectivity to the hostel was also good.

Faculty: Teaching staff members of our college were very educated, helpful, supportive and knowledgeable. They also guided students for their future and placements. They helped students in improving their abilities for good decision making.

Faculty members of the college are good, but the admission charge is very high.

Placements: I am a BCA student at Ahmednagar College. Last year, from my course, about 12 students got placements in our college, and he was selected for his AI skills. The highest package offered in our batch was above 12 LPA. I don't have knowledge about how many students got internships. But the amount will be decent.

Infrastructure: The college has the best suitable infrastructure. It has a department library with books and a lot of space for students to study. One drawback is that the college has a wide range of Wi-Fi but it is not accessible to students. The college has a hostel system where all rooms are located for students. The mess facility is provided by the college canteen. College is surrounded by a good amount of spare land for sports and games. Ahmednagar College has good IT labs.

Faculty: Teachers here are knowledgeable, and they ensure the quality of teaching. The college follows the SPPU course curriculum. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Exams are not too difficult as they are designed by Pune University. The passing rate of students is around 60%. Teachers are well-trained.

Other: I chose the course because I did not get admission to an engineering college. I wish to improve the syllabus taught by the college, and it should be modern. The college has a great and decent amount of events, but it should conduct sports events in various departments.
