Diploma in Local Government Service (LGS) 

at All India Institute of Local Self Government, Andheri West

Municipal Official with Local Self Government Diploma (LSGD) conferred by AIILSG and holding a supervisory position in local body for not less than 2 years

OR

SSC subject to the condition that such employees must produce a certificate along with recommendation from the concerned Head of the Department of the Municipal Corporation (Mahanagar Palika) or from the concerned Chief Officer of the Municipal Council or Nagar Panchayat, certifying that the immediate passing of LGS is a condition precedent for being: a) considered eligible for promotion, in case of employee in service. OR b) Held eligible for continuation in service - in case of employees directly recruited.
