Yes, AIIMS Delhi is almost free for all the programmes including MBBS MD MS PG Diploma M.Ch. DM DNB etc. For MBBS the admission charges (non-refundable) are INR 25 at the time of admission and INR 35 per day for the first 10 days. Other than this, there is no annual fee at AIIMS Delhi. Students must make a one-time payment between INR 5,000 to INR 6,000 which is the fee for the complete MBBS course of 5.5 years.
The UG and PG students who get hostel at AIIMS Delhi campus are required to submit hostel fee from along with the tuition fee, every semester. Step 1: AIIMS Delhi MBBS Application Process
To gain admission to the MBBS program students are expected to apply via the NEET UG entrance examination. The following are the procedures to follow:
- Visit the website of NTA NEET,
- Fill in your academic and personal information,
- Upload all the images of the documents,
- Make payment of the application fees.
Step 2: NEET Counselling
Once the candidates have scored the NEET cutoff marks, the process of counselling begins. There are two categories in which the NEET counselling process takes place; one is the 15 percent All India Quota (AIQ) and another one is 85 percent State Quota (SQ). NEET counselling for the AIQ seats will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee while NEET counselling for SQ will be done by the respective state counselling authorities or Directorates of Medical Education.
Step 4: Seat Allotment
The NEET UG counselling will be carried out in several rounds. At first, a provisional result will be released and students can lodge objections. Then the final result or seat allotment list will be released to the students. Depending on their seat allocation, they will accept the seats or go to the institute reporting round. Or they can choose to upgrade their seats. If they choose the latter option they need to register for more counselling rounds.
Step 5: Reporting to the Allotted Institute
Those students who will be granted seats in the counselling process will have to report to the allotted institutions for documentation and seat confirmation.

Yes, AIIMS does offer admission to NRI students. However, there is no seat reserved for them. Seats are available across every course offered at AIIMS Delhi and the requirement for admission across all courses is also similar to that of domestic students applying for the course.
- MBBS: There is no seat reserved for OCI and NRI candidates. Foreign candidates must have atleast 60% aggregate with PCB and English in Class 12 or equivalent.

Yes Deepak Chopra is an alumnus of All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi. He graduated from institution in the late 1960s before moving to United States in 1970 for further training. He has referred to AIIMS as his alma mater.
AIIMS Delhi accepts MD CET scores, followed by INI CET Counselling process for admission to the MD/ MS/ MDS/ DM and MCh courses. As per the AIIMS Delhi cut off 2024 for INI CET January session, the Round 1 and the Round 2 cutoffs have been released so far. Next round is expected to release soon. Basis the INI CET Round 2 cutoff 2024, MD in Radiodiagnosis with a closing rank of 2 was the most competitive course, followed by a cutoff rank of 17 for M.Ch in Neuro Surgery
At times, questions get repeated in the INI CET exam. But candidates are advised to prepare thoroughly so that they can answer every possible question in the exam. As the INI CET is one of the toughest exams, candidates should focus on concepts. At least two revisions are required before the exam date. After finishing the INI CET syllabus, candidates should appear in a mock test and solve previous question papers. Appearing in the mock test and analyzing their performance will boost their confidence.
Aspirants should know INI CET 2026 pattern, as it gives them an idea of question paper. They get to know about exam and make a strategy accordingly. Exam pattern comprises details such as mode and medium of exam, total number of questions and their types, the exam duration, and the marking scheme.

AIIMS Bhubaneswar is ranked 17th by NIRF, which makes it very competitive, though the cut-off is usually a shade lower than AIIMS Delhi. You still need a strong NEET UG rank to get in. No, AIIMS Delhi does not provide lateral entry for MBBS course. Students need to complete five-year course to get a degree. Students cannot apply through Diploma or other bachelor's degree. To get admission, students need to apply through NEET exam after completing Class 12.
