The answer will be both yes and no. Getting into AIIMS Delhi without NEET is possible if applying for courses such as BSc, MSc, PB BSc Nursing, MD, MS, DM and MCh, among various others, apart from MBBS. Admission to all these courses is either subject to an institute-specific entrance exam or INICET.
However, if the ultimate objective is to crack AIIMS New Delhi for MBBS, a student has to go through the NEET UG entrance exam followed by the counselling process. If the ranking and score obtained in the exam match with the minimum requirement of the institution, the student will get admission here for MBBS, otherwise not.
According to the information gathered by different sources on the internet, the marks that are necessary to obtain admission to AIIMS Delhi in the General category is between 675 and in case you are a member of the reserved category, you need at least 650 marks. AIIMS Delhi offers a wide range of MSc in Nursing, MSc and MBiotechnology courses to students at the PG level. The qualification required to pursue different MSc courses at AIIMS Delhi are as follows:
- For MSc Nursing: Candidates must have completed BSc (Hons) Nursing/ BSc Nursing (Post-Certificate)/ Post-Basic /BSc Nursing (4 years) course from any recognised university from an educational institution recognised by the Indian Nursing Council with 60% at least aggregate for Gen/ OBC (NCL)/ EWS candidates (55% aggregate in case of SC/ST candidates). Additionally, they must have registered as a Nurse, RN, RM (Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife) with any State Nursing Council.
- For MBiotechnology: Like other MSc courses, candidates must have completed a relevant degree or BTech (Biotechnology) with 60% aggregate.
- For MSc Courses: A pass in BSc with science (Biology compulsory) or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate.
Final selection to all the above MSc and MBiotech courses is subject to an Institute-level Entrance Exam conducted by AIIMS New Delhi.
At times, questions get repeated in the INI CET exam. But candidates are advised to prepare thoroughly so that they can answer every possible question in the exam. As the INI CET is one of the toughest exams, candidates should focus on concepts. At least two revisions are required before the exam date. After finishing the INI CET syllabus, candidates should appear in a mock test and solve previous question papers. Appearing in the mock test and analyzing their performance will boost their confidence.
Since you haven't mentioned your category, we would consider you to belong to the General Category. You should aim for a NEET UG cutoff rank under 50 to get AIIMS New Delhi. Looking at the last three years' cutoff, AIIMS Delhi NEET cutoff 2025 for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) closed at 48, while in 2024, it closed at 47 and 57 in 2023 for the General AI category students.

AIIMS Delhi accepts MD CET scores, followed by INI CET Counselling process for admission to the MD/ MS/ MDS/ DM and MCh courses. As per the AIIMS Delhi cut off 2024 for INI CET January session, the Round 1 and the Round 2 cutoffs have been released so far. Next round is expected to release soon. Basis the INI CET Round 2 cutoff 2024, MD in Radiodiagnosis with a closing rank of 2 was the most competitive course, followed by a cutoff rank of 17 for M.Ch in Neuro Surgery
Yes Deepak Chopra is an alumnus of All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi. He graduated from institution in the late 1960s before moving to United States in 1970 for further training. He has referred to AIIMS as his alma mater.
The UG and PG students who get hostel at AIIMS Delhi campus are required to submit hostel fee from along with the tuition fee, every semester. For Junior residents, however, the hostel fee is deducted from salary. In addition to this, a hostel security deposit fee of INR 1,000 at the time of joining/ application.
