IIT Delhi MSc Courses & Fees 2026: Placements, Cutoff, Admission Dates

IIT Delhi admission is done through IIT JAM. The selection is done on the basis of entrance scores. There are multiple steps in the process:

1. Register on the official wesbite https://jam.iitm.ac.in/notification.php#.
2. Fill in the application form, submit and save.
3. Seat Allocation
4. Pay the tuition fee to confirm the admission.

The documents required during the application form filling are:

• Eligibility degree details
• College name and address with PIN code
• JAM Paper(s) Code
• Choice of JAM examination cities
• High-quality passport-size photograph
• A high-quality image of the candidate’s signature
• Scanned copy of the Category (SC/ST) Certificate (if applicable) in PDF format
• Scanned copy of PwD Certificate (if applicable) in PDF format
• Details of the valid Identity Document (ID). Candidates should carry this original ID proof to the exam centre.
• Net-banking/ debit card/credit card details for fee payment

For some of the MSc specialisations, aspirants may have to apply directly on the institute's official website. The step-wise application process of IITD for the MSc course is given below:

• Visit the official website of IIT Delhi (www.iitd.ac.in). On its homepage, click on ‘Admissions’. From the drop-down menu that appears, click on ‘Announcements’.
• The admission brochure, admission pamphlet and prospectus can be downloaded from this page. Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button to proceed further.
• The registration page opens up. Click on ‘New User Register Here'. Fill out the registration form with all the details, including name, email ID, contact number, course preference, etc. Also, create an alpha-numeric password for future logins.
• Further, fill in the remaining application form by addressing other details, including guardian info, address of communication, qualifications, etc.
• Upload all the required documents in PDF format. Also, upload a passport-size photograph and signature and JPG/ JPEG format.
• Conclude the application process by paying an application fee using a debit card/ credit card/ net banking.
