On JEE Main Cutoffs
Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?
A:

After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. Those below this, between the 95th and 98th percentile, should focus on attempting more mock tests and previous year question papers so that they have a better chance of clearing JEE Advanced

Okay college with decent placement.
Placements: The AIML branch just started recently in 2024, so there is zero official placement yet for the AIML branch. The placement will start to begin for this branch after 1-2 years. The AIML branch placements are typically included under the Computer Science placements, meaning when an IT-based company comes, it wouldn't differentiate between CS and AIML and let both of them sit in their placement process. Considering the companies that came to our college for CS students, such as IBM, Infosys, Wipro, Jio, CapGemini, and many more, we can at least get a glimpse of the AIML branch.
Infrastructure: Basic CS labs are there in college, and there are also AI/ML software tools, but they aren't advanced. Our college has recently changed the PCs, and now they are the latest and updated.
Faculty: The faculty is mixed. Acccording to what I heard from seniors, some are decent and some just okay. Also, college support towards your projects isn't much, so you need to push it yourself. Teachers are mostly from a CS background, and some know AI/ML basics. So, the overall quality is average, and you must do self-study a lot. The curriculum is good but not very advanced; it covers the basics of Python, data structures, statistics, and all, but at least it covers the basics of AI and ML. Exams are a mix of written and practical, and we have two exams for each term: the first is mid-sem of 30 marks and the other is end-sem for 50. So, the syllabus is okay, not great. This is all I heard from seniors.
Other: It has a decent reputation, and it has just become autonomous from this year, 2025, so I’m hoping that the placement stats would be great when I graduate.

Good infrastructure and satisfactory facilities, but improvement are expected.
Placements: Placements are provided to the maximum number of students with decent results in the final year. The college becoming autonomous makes it more exposed to industrial development. This will create more opportunities in the near future. Companies from other domains also visit the campus to conduct seminars etc. To encourage students to join as interns which gives them more exposure to the work environment and work ethics.
Infrastructure: Courses provided in the college are great and helpful for learning, exploring and building. Branches such as VLSI, AI&ML are the top grossing branches that are in high demand at the current stage of industrial requirements.
Faculty: Faculty in this college is very knowledgeable and helpful. Every Support is fulfilled by them for each and every student. Faculty tries to understand and know every student individually, which makes them pay attention to every student. Every faculty member is well experienced in teaching and most of them are Ph. D. qualified. Every branch has experienced faculty, providing them with proper guidance.

I am satisfied with my college. Students need to develop their own skills as per market needs.
Placements: The AIML branch in AISSMS COE first batch started in 2024. Since 2025 is going on, no placements have been done till now. Infosys, Capgemini, and many more big companies hire students from our college. Soon, I will update students regarding them after 1-2 years.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of our college are good. Wi-Fi is available in the reading hall, and guest Wi-Fi is also available. Wi-Fi is available in the library. The quality of food in the mess is very good. In the canteen, Lassi is the best one, which I like the most.
Faculty: Teachers are well-experienced. They are really teaching well. They are knowledgeable and well-qualified for this course. The course curriculum from SPPU is really decent. It really makes students aligned with industry needs. Semester exams are of a medium level.

In 2025, there will be an excellent faculty for first-year students.
Placements: If you take the MHT CET, you need a minimum cutoff of 95% for a computer science student. If you want to pursue another course, you need to score above 90%. We have top companies like Microsoft and other big firms. If you achieve a 9 CGPA, you will have the opportunity to land the best jobs.
Infrastructure: In 2025, there will be excellent faculty for any course you choose, with truly great instructors. The hostels are also among the best; they offer personal rooms for students and Wi-Fi in each room. We boast a large sports ground, a basketball court, and an extensive library.
Faculty: You are required to study for semester exams with no cheating allowed at this college. The faculty is strict yet helpful. A significant event called Shivanjali, a large festival, takes place for two days each year.
Other: You chose Artificial Intelligence/Machines Learning or Computer Science because of a variety of factors, possibly including a strong interest in technology, a desire for a career with high demand and good earning potential, or a passion for solving complex problems.

Perfect college with education and fun activities .
Placements: Nice placements are offered, as many companies give great opportunities to the students of this college with reasonable packages. Mock interviews are performed to help the students be confident.
Infrastructure: Everything is perfect, high maintenance, family environment, everything neat and tidy. The college also has a library for students to study and a reading hall. Every classroom has more than four fans, which is useful in a hot climate and a canteen with great food.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated, and because they are effective, students learn well, which increases placement opportunities in college. The papers are difficult, but this is important so that only worthy students can secure job opportunities, and the ease of the papers depends on the individual student.
Other: Not expensive.

Great college especially in the Mechanical Engineering field.
Placements: Almost 95% of students get placed every year. Students get 10-12 LPA packages at the fresher level. Companies like Godrej, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, IBM, KSB, Thermax, and Atlas Copco companies gave the job offer to students. Mechanical students get more internships and job offers from MNCs. Generally, they get the position of Graduate Engineering Trainee.
Infrastructure: Labs of each department are well-equipped with instruments and experiment setups with well-trained lab assistants. Each and every experiment is done during the practical. Classrooms are huge with projectors and are well-secured with security cameras
Faculty: Faculty members of every department are well-qualified, active, and knowledgeable. They teach everything with deep knowledge and experience. The curriculum is relevant, which gives a great engineer for the industry. Semester exams are somewhat difficult but not impossible. They should be given in a smart way.
Other: I chose Mechanical Engineering. Generally, there are fewer girls in the mechanical field, but when I researched the placement percentage and package, I became so much interested in the course and college. I think the college should arrange more technical fests. Connectivity is best as the college itself has a metro station. The college offers many scholarships to students. Shivanjali is the biggest and most amazing fest at AISSMS.
