The selection of candidates to various courses is done basis the merit or the scores obtained by them in the accepted entrance exams. The university accepts the scores of various national-level entrance exams for courses like BTech, BArch, MTech, and MBA. Additionally, SRMU also conducts an entrance exam at the university level for those who have not appeared for such entrance exams.

Eligibility Criterion for B.Tech at Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University: 

Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Central/ State Board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Computer Science/Technical Vocational Subject.

Candidate must have obtained a minimum 45% marks or equivalent grade for GEN/OBC and 40% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ST.
