Candidates must have passed two years of pre-university examination conducted by pre-university education board in the state of Karnataka or any other examination considered as equivalent thereto. Generally a candidate to opt for a subject should have studied that subject at the qualifying examination. Candidates opting for Biotechnology/Zoology should have studied that subject or biology.
