Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Faridabad Campus Offers MSc in Social Data Science & Policy

May 6, 2024: Unlock brains and transform society. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Faridabad Campus offers India's only MSc in Social Data Science & Policy. This degree is specifically created for students who are passionate about making a difference in the world and want to learn how to use difficult data science approaches to guide policy and community decisions that tackle social challenges. In this two-year programme, Amrita strategically integrates social philosophy, national and international politics, economics, and technical abilities in machine learning, Gen-AI, and other advanced data processing techniques. 

Students will have an opportunity to join in nationally and internationally funded projects taking place across India, under the UNESCO Chair in Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment, to further their research and experience. To ensure students gain the most from the program, Amrita leverages powerful collaborations with top-tier organizations including the DST Government of India, the United Nations, and the Centre for Research in Schemes and Policies (CRISP), as well as collaborations with universities around the world.
