Amrut Mody School of Management offers a two-year MBA programme spread across four semesters. The MBA degree is awarded to students by Ahmedabad University. Entrance Exam

Amrut Mody accepts national or university-level Management entrance exams for MBA admission. Candidates need to qualify for MAT/ SNAP/ XAT/ CAT/ NMAT/ CMAT to get admission in the MBA programme.

Selection Rounds

Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email and through the application portal about the status of their application within 10 days of their application. All selected candidates will be further called for personal interaction and Writing Assessment Test (WAT) on specified dates that will be informed to them via email communications. Candidates need to carry below documents during the interview:

Marksheet of the final year of graduation. Those in the final year of graduation shall self-attest the mark sheets of all the previous semesters/ years
Marksheet of Class 10 and Class 12
Score Card of CAT / CMAT/ NMAT/ MAT / SNAP/ XAT / GRE / GMAT

College is good; I recommend.

Placements: 90% of students were placed through campus placements. The highest is around 16 LPA, and the average is 7-8 LPA. Roles are good for finance and marketing. Internships are available in many firms like FMCG, consulting, IT, teaching, and even telecom businesses, and they prepare us well for placements.

Infrastructure: The services provided are good, and the campus is really nice. Wi-Fi services are available, and the labs and classrooms are better than most out there. The canteen is really good, and the food is tasty and healthy too. Medical facilities and sports are also well taken care of.

Faculty: Teachers are very qualified, and the knowledge they possess is great! The courses and subjects are relevant to the students and make us industry-ready with the help of many different projects and real-world experiences. Semesters are challenging, which an MBA student should face.

Our college is fostering continuous progress and learning.

Placements: There is a career development centre at the university, which helps us with our placements. The majority of students of the batch of 2021 got placed. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. Companies like Berger Paints, ITC, MRF, Adani Wilmar, Radio Mirchi, S&P Global, Nestle, Airtel, Byju's, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank and others come to campus for recruiting.

Infrastructure: Our college has one of the best infrastructure and facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, digitally equipped classrooms and a huge library resource. The hostel has been given to a third party that manages and maintains the hostel. The quality of facilities available at the hostel is excellent as compared to normal hostels. The quality of food available in the mess is clean and hygienic. Various other facilities like medical and sports are available. The hostel also built a space for indoor games.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable to provide sufficient teaching with industry practices. The teaching quality is effective as compared to the top 10 business schools, with extensive research and knowledge. They are capable of handling topics from various backgrounds. The course curriculum is perfectly designed in accordance with various industry needs. Continuous evaluation processes are carried out in each course, so students learn along the course. Semester exams are designed in such a way that if students pay attention in the class, then they can easily pass the exams.

Other: The best thing about the course is practical exposure in terms of industry electives where industry leaders impart knowledge. In Route Camp, students get an opportunity to do hands-on live projects with the company. Courses are designed and curated according to the market needs, which make students ready for the industry and corporate life. It is one of the most happening colleges in Ahmedabad, where about 16-18 clubs host various events and fests. Apart from this, there is a management fest named Concourse, which is a prominent B-school competition. There are also need-based and merit-based scholarships for students.

AMSOM holistic review regarding placement, faculty members and curriculum.

Placements: Mostly all who wish to work got placed. Companies like HDFC, federal bank, Asian paints and Aditya Birla come on campus for recruitment. The highest CTC is near 6.5 Lacs and average being 4.5 lacs. Everyone gets internship from the college. The lowest stipend is zero and the highest is 12000.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is great and has all facilities like Wi-Fi, library, labs, classrooms. Hostel service can be availed by the ones who wish to, hostel rooms are newly constructed and gave necessary facilities. Along with this, the food is average. College has a number of clubs whose activities are arranged on Wednesday.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and always approachable for doubts and queries. They possess immense knowledge and their method of teaching is also appropriate. Curriculum is relevant, case studies, group discussions and good pedagogy are used. Curriculum gives exposure to practice industry's working.
