Details about Ahmedabad University.

Placements: I got to know about placement through recent data, where I found that in AU, the placement rate is 97 percent in UG as well as PG. As a student at AU, I would like to confess that it is true. I also asked my senior about this, and many of my seniors got their placements in the first place.

Infrastructure: Ahmedabad University provides the best hostel facility. Recently, they made their own hostel away from the university, which is very helpful for us to stay away from the university noise. They also provide a shuttle facility for us every 15 minutes so that it will not cause any delay for classes. Their rooms just feel like home with friends.

Faculty: Teachers at Ahmedabad University are very talented and well-qualified. The way they explain things is most admirable. They also care about whether students are learning or not. They make complex topics feel just like a piece of cake for us. They also give us advice on what to do in the future.

Other: I really like this university. The people of Ahmedabad are very good. I am a non-local, and the friends I made are very helpful. I enjoyed making the decision to come to Ahmedabad. I am interested in Accounting, so that's why I chose B.Com (Hons).

Ahmedabad University review.

Placements: To be honest, at Ahmedabad University and after the completion of my B.Com., there were not any placement facilities available. So, you need to look for off-campus jobs and internships. So, don't come here in hope of any placements; your aim should be to just study and develop your skills.

Infrastructure: The facilities that were available in our college were mind-blowing as they were on a massive campus and there were labs available to us so we could use them at any time. Moreover, there were Wi-Fi facilities available and all classrooms had smart boards and air conditioning. One of the bad things was that there were not any hostel facilities available to girls so you need to find some PGs near college.

Faculty: Education-wise, this college is the best. All faculty members are highly skilled and supportive. The college also provides all reading materials and every semester, exams are taken. If you study regularly and attend college every day, then you can easily pass the exam.

Other: If you are financially strong and want to study seriously, then definitely opt for this college. As for my time, it was 40 thousand per year, but now it has increased to 1.2 lacs, which is too high. But studies wise and other facilitators were satisfactory.

I am satisfied with its teachers, education, campus, infrastructure, and facilities.

Placements: There were no placements in this college. They provide to those who had done master's from this college. But I wished that they would have offered placements in this program as well. But I have heard from seniors that they provide good placements after the master's program.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good and pleasing, students can walk on the campus sometimes to get peace and release stress. The Wi-Fi provided to students was very fast, and I was able to submit the assignments on time. I stay in Ahmedabad so I did not go to the hostel of Ahmedabad University.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful as they would solve all doubts and queries immediately when students ask them. Every course in our university has projects, quizzes, assignments, and presentations which were structured in a way that students get all-around exposure and knowledge about that course. It makes students industry-ready. Exams were difficult to pass especially for me in economics as I am weak in that subject. Otherwise all other courses it was easy to pass if students study well. The pass percentage was 40%.

Other: I opted for this course because I am passionate about accounts, and I want to be in that field in the future. I wished that there was less stress about course selection every semester as students sometimes would not get courses, they want time slots. Events and fests were the best part as every Wednesday students used to have events and club activities which made them relaxed from all the academic stress.

I suggest you join this college, and you will have the best time of your life.

Placements: Since my field was B.Com, and I wanted to go for higher studies, so I did not choose for placements. But I know that college provides good placements for those who choose to opt for it. Some of my friends from the BBA course choose to take advantage of this service and were given placements in good places with a good salary package.

Infrastructure: I am passed out of college before they started the hostel, but the students who live there have complimented the efforts be that in infrastructure, food service or room cleaning services they provided. They even provide vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. The campus is large, with different buildings to provide students with the best education.

Faculty: Most of the teachers in our college were PhD holders. They designed courses which were effective for the student of every calibre. Professors believed in hands-on learning, and they always guide students towards finding solutions rather than serving it to them.

Other: The campus crowd and campus life were one of the best aspects of the college. Every day, some or the other part of college and group of students were busy in the various club, sports and cultural activities making it possible for every student to select their folio among the wide variety of activities.

AMSOM is a college with highly qualified professors and one of the best infrastructure.

Placements: Amrut Mody School of Management is a great college. I have done my graduation in Bachelors of Commerce. Mostly people after graduation prefer post-graduation but AMSOM makes you ready for placement after graduations through various practical exposures. Average placement package falls between 3 Lacs to 9 Lacs which is not bad as compared to graduation degree. We had a special recruiting group which helped us to find a job as per our requirement. Our college gave us tops roles for HR, Finance, Marketing which matters in last year as you have to choose a specialisation subject one or more of it.

Infrastructure: Facilities like AC classrooms with charging cables and Wi-Fi, AC library, Sports ground, Indoor games room, Computer lab and above all cleanliness was maintained at peak for all these areas and the best place where every student hangs on when bunk the class is canteen; it was the best canteen with a low suitable priced menu for students.

Faculty: Teachers and professors were highly qualified and always available for doubt solving or any other issues. Teaching quality was pretty good as our semesters were divided in parts like quizzes, project submission, research papers, and the mid sem and end sem exams. And in all these phases teachers were very much helpful. The course curriculum is highly updated and provides high exposures for students which include industrial visits and practical examples.

Other: B.Com is mostly basic course for commerce field where you get knowledge of accounts and other stuff with more intense study. This course gives you total exposure to the practical world. Our college had an attendance policy of 80% which is very high compared to other colleges if anything can be improved was to lessen the attendance criteria. It also gave scholarships to financially weak families and who were capable to get it through hard work.
