Moderate college, satisfied with some faculty members.
Placements: I belong to the electronics and communication engineering batch and I am part of the recent passing-out batch (2026). Placement performance in our college has been fluctuating over the years. In 2022 placement was 191 percent means multiple offers for students. The following years saw a decline due to market conditions. In 2026, placements are currently ongoing and showing moderate improvement. TCS has already offered more than 200 students while Cognizant has hired 50+ students. Several startups have also participated in the recruitment process.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the ECE department is average. Classrooms are decent but during summer especially in E-block the conditions are very comfortable. There is no free Wi-Fi facility available on campus. Labs are available for core subjects like communication, electronics, and microprocessor but some equipment is outdated.
Faculty: Faculty members are a mix of experienced and average teachers. Overall teaching quality is moderate. The course curriculum, being under MAKAUT is somewhat outdated and does not fully align with the current industry. Semester exams are moderately difficult.

Honest Review AOT: Difficult exam, 75% attendance, infrastructure is beautiful.
Placements: 80% of students got into industry trading from Wipro. The top roles offered in my course are system engineer and GET. The top recruiting companies in our college are TCS and Cognizant. The highest package offered in our college is 9 LPA. The average and the lowest package offered in our college AOT are 4 LPA and 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: Mess is available in our college areas. Good quality food is available in the college canteen. Medical facilities and insurance are provided by the college. The gym and football ground are available in the college. The college library is good, and all books are available in our college library. Labs are good.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful. All teachers are qualified and experienced. They are helping with our project. Teaching quality was very advanced, and a digital blackboard was available in our college classroom. This course curriculum makes all students industry-ready. The semester examination is difficult.

Placements: In AOT, the highest package offered in our course is 9.03 LPA. Average package offered in our course is 6 LPA, and the lowest package offered in our course is 3.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies comes to our college are TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, etc. 70 percent of students are placed in our college.
Infrastructure: Sports clubs are available in our college. Good quality of food is available in college canteen. Medical facilities are available in our college. A digital library is available in our college. All books are available in the college library. Wi-Fi is available in the computer lab.
Faculty: All teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching quality of all teachers is very good. They help before the semester examination. This course curriculum is relevant to the students, and it makes them industry-ready. Semester examination is difficult but 90 percent of students pass.

My college has moderate placement offers and knowledgeable teachers.
Placements: Top roles offered in this course are a GET and a software engineer. The top recruiting companies in 2025 are TCS and Cognizant. Also, some other company comes to the college. Average package in our course is 3.5 LPA to 3.6 LPA, and the highest and the lowest packages are 9 LPA and 3.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: College facilities and infrastructure are better than those of other colleges. Wi-Fi is available in the lab and library. All labs are good. A digital board system was available in our college classroom. Also, a digital library is available in our college. The quality of food in canteen is good.
Faculty: 97.5 percent of students passed the university exam. Semester examinations are different in our college. Expected questions come in the semester examination. This course makes a student industry-ready in any field, such as core or software. All teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable.

AOT, the college of engineers.
Placements: 50 per cent of students were placed in my course. Our the largest package is 5 Lacs and the lowest package 1.2 Lacs and average package is 4 Lacs. Top recruiting companies in my course are Amazon, Cognizant. 24 per cent of students got internship in my course. Top role offered is software engineer.
Infrastructure: Our course facilities and infrastructure are both good. Our labs and classrooms are always clean, and also available Wi-Fi, and any kind of books are always available in our library. Our college hostel is good, and the quality of food is great. Mess and canteen are always clean, and there are also available medical facilities. Our sports are football and cricket.
Faculty: In our course, all teachers are helpful and all teachers have a Ph.D. degree. Our teacher's teaching quality is good. Our course curriculum is relevant. This course makes a student industry-ready. Our semester exam is difficult, but if you study well then you will pass the exam. Our pass percentage is 40 per cent.

Placements: In AOT, the maximum number of students was placed in TCS and Cognizant. 80.6% of students got placed in our college, and 70% of students were placed in our course. The highest package offered in our college is approximately 9 LPA. The average and the lowest package offered in our college are 3.6 LPA and 6 LPA. Top roles include software engineer.
Infrastructure: In AOT, infrastructure is splendid. All facilities are available here, like Wi-Fi in the lab, and the college classroom is good. A digital library is available in our college, AOT. Almost all books are available in the college library. Medical facilities are also available in our college.
Faculty: In AOT, all faculty members are very helpful. All teachers are Ph.D. holders. In my course, all teachers are very knowledgeable and experienced. They are very friendly in nature. The course curriculum makes a student industry-ready. Semester examinations are difficult, but a maximum number of students passed.

The ranking in JEE Main with 12,000 may be out of competition with top colleges in IIT and NIT in CSE department, which happens when the ranking in the entrance test goes highly competitive for seats in that stream. Considering the AOT cutoff 2024 for the BTech courses, only Round 1 seat allotment was released for the ECE course. Considering the AOT ECE cutoff 2024, the cutoff stood at 81257. So, yes, it can definitely be possible to get into AOT with a mere rank of 20k. Check out below the ECE year-wise cutoff
