College life at AOT from lectures to labs.
Placements: The college offers decent placements if you study well and score good grades. In my course specifically, almost 80–90% get placed. Some of the recruiters that visit are TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, and many more. The highest placement offer at the college is between 22–24 LPA. Being a first-year student, I have not received any internship opportunities yet. But, according to some seniors, they do get internship opportunities. I cannot talk about the companies offering the internships.
Infrastructure: The college has well-equipped classrooms. Laboratories have well-equipped equipment across all disciplines. There is no Wi-Fi available on the college campus. The library has a vast collection of books across all disciplines. Many books are available in digital format, allowing students to access them online from anywhere. The overall experience of the hostel is good. The hostel is allotted on a double-sharing basis. Mess food is average and eatable. It is not that delicious, but it is kind of good. Sports facilities at the college are good. There are coaches for football, basketball, and volleyball for both girls and boys. Badminton and cricket are available without coaches.
Faculty: The college has good faculty members across all disciplines having Ph. D.s in their respective fields and good teaching skills. You can also approach professors at any time during their working hours. The curriculum is well-structured and covers all core engineering principles, incorporating the latest advancements in technology and business practices. The difficulty level of the semester exams is appropriate for the course level and not overly challenging or too easy.
Other: I chose this course because it offers good job prospects and high employability rates. The field is in high demand, ensuring a steady stream of job opportunities. The syllabus of the course must to be updated because it is too old compared to real-world demands. There should be more internships and projects. Arcadia is a vibrant college fest held in November. It includes cultural performances, dance shows, and music concerts. Scholarships are available, such as the Swami Vivekananda Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship for students with West Bengal domicile. The college focuses on academics, so there are fewer opportunities for extracurricular activities.

Review on Academy of Technology.
Placements: In 2024, 567 students were placed out of 600 students in top MNCs like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, Capgemini, and Tech Mahindra. The highest package is 14 LPA, and the average package is 4.67 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.8 LPA. Students are placed mostly in software developer roles.
Infrastructure: In every lab, every student gets their own individual computer or instruments for performing their lab experiments. All computer labs are fully air-conditioned. Hostels are also good. They provide healthy food to students every day. Medical facilities are also present in the college.
Faculty: The professors are very helpful. A huge number of professors are NET-qualified. Some of them are also from IIT Kharagpur. Though my course is designed by Tata Consultancy Services, I can assure you that this course will help students become industry-ready.

One of the best private college in West Bengal at affordable fee with best infrastructure.
Placements: 1) Almost 70 percent students get placement through campus placement. Few students also got off-campus placement. 2) In 2024, the highest package was 14 lpa, the lowest package was 2.8 lpa, and the average was 3-3.5 lpa. 3) TCS, Cognizant, and TCS are top recruiters for CSBS. TCS almost takes 90 percent students. 4) 10-15 percent students got internships at TCS, COGNIZANT, etc. Very few students got internships at Google, Microsoft, and Amazon.
Infrastructure: 1) Facilities: Free Wi-Fi is available for students; students can use the library during college hours. Students can use the computer lab after 3:30–5:50 pm. 2) The hostel rooms are excellent and have clean bathrooms. The food of the mess is quite good. There are football, cricket, and basketball facilities in the hostel.
Faculty: 1) The teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable and the most important thing is they are quite friendly. The teaching quality of teachers varies from teacher to teacher but I say teaching quality up to the mark. 2) For 1st year students of all streams, study the same subject, which is definitely not needed but it is mandatory to study subjects like electrical and mechanical for CSBS students.
Other: 1) I chose this course because this is the best course offered by the college and the placement rate is 100 percent in this course. 2) I wish they should provide doubt cleaning class once a month. 3) Arcadia is the fest of the college.

Really good college in terms of return of investment.
Placements: About 86% of students get placed, with the highest package being 40 LPA from Amazon. The average package is 4-5 LPA, which is very good compared to other private colleges in West Bengal. TCS and Wipro come to the college for mass recruitment, and the college also provides internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are very good. I chose the hostel over a PG because the hostel provides a more enjoyable college experience. The hostel offers sports events and WiFi. There is also a canteen on campus that provides good food at a low price. In addition, there is a football field on campus.
Faculty: The faculty are highly qualified, and some of them are from NIT and IIT. Their teaching quality is awesome. To be honest, semester exams are not easy because the college is under MAKAUT University, which prepares very good questions. The exams are of moderate difficulty.
Other: Our college hosts a fest called Arcadia, which is very popular in West Bengal. Many famous singers have come to our college for concerts, including Arman Malik, Mika Singh, and Sunidhi Chauhan. The best thing about this college is the low fees. Many colleges in West Bengal charge more than Rs. 8 lakhs for a four-year BTech course, but this college charges only Rs. 6 lakhs for the entire course.

Good faculty, good placement, good infrastructure, with a lot of extracurricular opportunities.
Placements: The college placements are quite good as of this date. Almost everyone gets placed (given that you pass the qualification criteria). The average package offered is 3-4 LPA (pretty good for starters). The IT and CSE branches bag most of the jobs, with ECE second in line. For other branches, you have to work a little harder to get good placements. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Accenture visit every year, while Amazon comes once every 2-3 years.
Infrastructure: Although I am not a resident of the hostel, I have heard from my friends and classmates that the hostel facilities are quite good. Four-course meals are provided, and the quality is just fine (healthy). Interested students, even in the first year, can engage in sports after college hours. Wi-Fi is available on the college campus and is provided to the students who require it. Classrooms may be an issue in the summer season, as there are many students, and the classrooms just fall short of accommodating them. Other than that, the buildings and infrastructure are quite good compared to the location. You will find peace on the campus. The library contains a huge variety of books. The only con is you can’t visit the library directly. You have to go to the website, choose the book, and then take it to the reading room because students are not allowed in the library.
Faculty: The teachers here are very friendly. Every teacher has a unique way of teaching, and they engage with students in every possible way. There are no language barriers. Our college follows the MAKAUT curriculum, so I guess you know what that is. Semester exams are not too difficult.
Other: One thing I want to say is that those students who want to enjoy a good college life starting from the first year should not take admission here because, in the first year, the faculty will be very strict with you, and there will not be enough freedom. From the second year onwards, it becomes more free. Continuous hackathons and the annual festival are held every year. Students have the freedom to choose any sport they like or any events they want to participate in.
