Aryanet institute of Technology Palakkad.

Placements: As there are some financial crisis there is no placement hosted this year. At present the institute is closed. There is no admissions allotted this year. And the institution will be permanently closed soon. The opening batch of AIT is respected to attend the placement programme hosted by the AIT officials. Various companies and students participated in the programme. Around 100 students got placed at various companies.

Infrastructure: The land is surrounded of coconut grove situated against the Kalladikodan mountain ranges. Total area of the land is about 13 acres which contains 2 blocks of buildings. One main block and a secondary block. Main block includes the administration office and head office of all departments. Secondary block includes mainly of computer lab and a seminar hall. There is a canteen at the back end of the secondary block. The boys and girls hostels are adjacent to the main block separated by the playground.

Faculty: This engineering institute provides five different engineering streams as per AICTE norms. Mechanical engineering, Civil engineering, Electrical and Electronics engineering, Electronics and communication engineering and Computer Science engineering are the five streams in AIT. As per AIT vision the faculty appointed are well qualified and experienced. Dr. M. R Vikraman (Retired principal of NSS college Akathethara, Palakkad is acting as the principal of AIT.

The best faculty were the tag line but the management have least funding capabilities.

Placements: They usually offer the third-party placements. The computer science and civil students are more likely to get placements. The mechanical, electrical and EC have nil placement options. There is a placement cell in the college which has more or less idle. The packages of the students usually fall under 2 lac at the maximum.

Infrastructure: All the laboratory facilities are available here which includes fluid machinery, production lab, civil labs, computer labs, etc. There is a playground too on the campus. The canteen has its name, and you can find more or less nothing favourable for students. The classrooms are well-equipped.

Faculty: A wide range of faculty who were professors at high standard institutions can be seen on the campus. Some of the lab assistants have good knowledge in the lab. They are handling, and some others have the least knowledge. The main course offered here is only engineering which comprises of mechanical, civil, electrical, electronics and communication, and computer science.

Other: The scholarships are given to the high profile students.

Aryanet Institute of Technology is good but not great.

Placements: Aryanet Institute of Technology does not have good placement records. I should say it is not up to the mark. The major recruiter from the campus is Shoba Construction Group. They take people in large numbers but there are a lot of people who are not yet placed. Good pre-placement classes called placement orientation programmes should be conducted to improve the placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure in the college is not up to the mark and it is not enough. The library has enough number of books and magazines divided into two as reference material and takeaways. There are separate hostel facilities for both girls and boys. The cleanliness can be improved. The sports facility is good. There are separate courts for various games and coaches. There is a medical clinic.

Faculty: This is under Calicut University and the curriculum is good. But it cannot be compared with foreign universities. The teachers are knowledgeable and helpful. They take extra classes for students in need. Many are Masters degree holders and some are just BTech degree holders. Classes are from 9 to 4 in usual working days. They take students for industrial visits once in two years.
