CEE has released the KEAM mock test 2026 for the KEAM 2026 exam. To make the candidates familiar with the exam format, the KEAM practice test link has been activated under the logins of the candidates at cee.kerala.gov.in. To access the KEAM mock test 2026, candidates have to log in with their KEAM application number and password.
Candidates for the KEAM exam can take advantage of a free mock test to improve their performance in attempting the most number of questions. It should be noted that the KEAM exam is conducted in CBT mode. Thus, to achieve better scores and marks, candidates can take an online KEAM mock test to enhance their preparations.

The pattern of the exam states that the KEAM question papers comprise objective-type questions (MCQ). For each question asked, five answers will be suggested but only one of them will be correct. For every correct response in the Engineering and Medical Entrance Examinations, candidates will be awarded four marks and for each wrong response, one mark will be deducted from the candidate’s total score.

KEAM 2026 mock test is released online for students who want to prepare for the upcoming exam. Registered candidates can access official mock tests after logging in to their account. Q:   What is the KEAM question paper pattern?

KEAM 2026 is an objective type exam with Multiple Choice Questions based on a single response. KEAM 2026 will be held in computer-based test mode and there will be one paper with three sections (Maths, Physics, Chemistry) for BTech candidates and two (Physics, Chemistry) for BPharm candidates. Engineering exam will consist of 150 questions, with Mathematics having 75, Physics having 45 and Chemistry having 30. Candidates will have 180 minutes to complete the exam. For candidates appearing for KEAM 2026 BPharm ONLY, entrance exam will have 45 questions in Physics and 30 in Chemistry, to be completed within 90 minutes. Each correct answer will fetch candidates 4 marks, and wrong answer will lead to -1 marking.

Q:   How many questions will be there in KEAM?
A: 

The KEAM 2026 engineering paper will have a total of 150 questions. Mathematics will have 75 questions, Physics will have 45 questions, and Chemistry will have 30 questions to be answered in 180 minutes. For KEAM 2026 BPharm ONLY candidates, the Entrance Examination will have a total of 75 questions; 45 questions in Physics and 30 questions in Chemistry to be answered in 90 minutes.

The type of questions asked in KEAM are MCQs - Multiple Choice Questions. Questions are of plus 2 level and are from the KEAM syllabus prescribed by the CEE.

The KEAM Maths syllabus is as follows: Unit 1: Algebra Sets Relations and Functions Complex Numbers, Quadratic Equations, Sequences and Series, Permutations, Combinations, Binomial Theorem and Mathematical Induction, Matrices and Determinants Linear Inequations, Mathematical Logic and Boolean Algebra Unit 2: Trigonometry Degree measures and Radian measure of positive and negative angles; the relation between degree measure and radian measure, definition of trigonometric functions with the help of a unit circle, periodic functions, the concept of periodicity of trigonometric functions, value of trigonometric functions of x trigonometric functions of sum and difference of numbers. Q:   Is there any negative marking in KEAM?
A: 
Yes, one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. For every correct response in KEAM candidates will be awarded four marks and for each wrong response, one mark will be deducted from the candidates' total score. The pattern of the exam states that the KEAM question papers will comprise objective type questions (MCQ). For each question asked, five answers will be suggested but, only one of them will be correct. All the questions asked will be from KEAM syllabus listed for Physics Chemistry Mathematics / Biology. Candidates will be awarded 4 marks for every correct answer. 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. 4 marks will be awarded to candidates for marking every accurate answer. No marks will be deducted for not attempting a question. In case a candidate has marked two answers for a single question in the OMR sheet, negative marking will be applicable regardless of either of the answers being right or wrong.
Q:   When should I start with KEAM preparation to secure good scores?
A: 

To secure a high score, start your KEAM preparation at least 8 months before the exam, ideally at the beginning of Class 12, focusing on mastering Class 11 & 12 NCERT concepts, followed by intensive mock tests and previous year question practice.

Q:   Is the KEAM syllabus same as JEE Main syllabus?
A: 

No. Not completely. Candidates should follow the syllabus provided by CEE to prepare for KEAM and cover all syllabus in the KEAM syllabus to ace the exam.
