Our college is very good.

Placements: Around 54-60% of students got placed in our college. Our college provides good placements. Top recruiting companies are Jindal, Mittal, JSW, etc. I would recommend joining this college.

Infrastructure: Our college provides many facilities. A playground is available in our college. We play cricket, football, and other sports. Labs have all the necessary equipment. The canteen is not available in our college.

Faculty: Our department has the best teachers. The course curriculum is good. They are helpful. They are the best. This course is for 3 years. Semester exams are conducted in our college.

Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it.

Our college is number 1 Polytechnic Institute in West Bengal.

Placements: About 97 percent student got placed from our Institute. Our branch metallurgy has the highest placement opportunity. Top recruiting companies are JSPL, JSL, Shyam Metaliks, Rashmi Metaliks, Gagan, Jay balaji Durgapur, Super smelter etc. They take many students from our college. The average package they offered is 200000 INR and the highest package is 360000 INR.

Infrastructure: I am now reading in first year. Yet I have not entered into metallurgy department. I will enter in metallurgy department in 2nd year. College does not provide free Wi-Fi and lab quality is not so good. There are no lab assistant in many laboratory. Classrooms are well furnished and moderate. Library is full of many valuable books but librarian doesn't provide book to the students because of lack of library assistant. Hostel quality is very good. Our college have 3 hostels including a girl's hostel. Food quality is moderate. 1st year JEXPO students reside at SB Hostel and 2nd- 3rd year reside at Mining Hostel.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well qualified and also knowledgeable. All are most helpful and friendly teachers. They teach the students very well. Sems are taken in an interval of 6 months. In between 2 internal exams are also taken by department teacher. Question is moderate hard but not difficult to pass the examination. The minimum passing mark in internal, external and also overall is 40 percentage.

Other: Metallurgy has a bright future in many plants i.e., Steel and Iron Industry. In West Bengal Asansol Polytechnic metallurgy student have many advantages in job life. Campus life is very smooth and ragging free. Ragging is a punishable offense in our college. Seniors are very friendly and also helpful from all side.

Placements: The placement percentage is 60-70%. The average package is 4 LPA, and the minimum package is 2 LPA. Top recruiting company are Jindal steel, jsl, jsw, amns, arrora, Hindalco, etc. Top roles like operation, supervisor are offered in my course.

Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in the classroom, but in computer lab there is Wi-Fi. Hostel facility is very bad, and not well furnished. In my college, annual sports activities are done.

Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful. Their teaching quality is very good, as they are well educated. This is av100% industry related course, and practical. Semester exams are conducted and are of moderate difficulty.

My college is very good, in terms of placements, and gaining knowledge.

Placements: 90% students get placed. The highest package is 5-6 LPA, and the average package is 3-4 LPA. Companies like Jsl, jsw, amns, Viraj steel limited, balaji steel, maithon steel, etc. come here to recruit the students. Top roles are operators in steel industry.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good enough. The classrooms are big, and Wi-Fi is not available in the classroom. Teachers are very helpful. Hostels are not good. Annual sports activities are done here.

Faculty: Some teachers are really helpful. They passed from top IIT colleges, and they have good knowledge on their topics. We get good knowledge and we are ready for the industry. Semester exam is moderately difficult.

Other: In this course we get many placements.

Placements: Our batch was excellent in studies. Almost 70% of students were placed in this course. Top recruiting companies like Shyam Steel, etc., visited our campus.

Infrastructure: Our college had all kinds of facilities. Wi-Fi was available for students and teachers. There were well-maintained classrooms, an excellent laboratory, and a well-stocked library. The hostel facilities were available for boys and girls. Medical facilities were available. The food quality was average.

Faculty: Our teachers were very good and highly qualified. Their sense of humor was good. Semester exams were not that hard if students attended classes regularly. The pass percentage was 30%. The course curriculum was relevant. There were separate faculty members for sports.

Other: Our college should improve its faculty members. The canteen needs some modifications.
