Asansol Polytechnic .

Placements: Approximately 10% students get placed. The highest 3.84 CTC, the lowest 1.92 CTC Companies like JSW, Gainwell, L and T Junior engineer is the top role in the government sectors, in sectors student offer lower post first, no high profile job should be expected.

Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi, Labs are well-equipped, Library is good Books in. Still some instruments in the labs aren't No mess available, canteen is not available, No medical facilities. Cricket, football with all necessary kits available, cricket ground is good.

Faculty: The teachers are good, they are so knowledgeable, well qualified. Teaching quality is modern. This course curriculum is completely relevant. The course also provide industry training in DPL and other companies. The semesters are too difficult. BSF are came for security. The pass is above 60% .

Other: I love Maths so I chose this course. Too much study needed that is the best thing. The exams should be easy and teachers should be increased in every subjects for exam preparation. Fresher's welcome and reunion are some extra events.

Review of Asansol Polytechnic.

Placements: Placements are not provided in our college every year. Students got internship opportunities in our college after completing the course. The recruiting companies are Shyam steel, Mann steel, Maivky TMT, etc., in our electrical engineering course.

Infrastructure: Our campus is filled with all kinds of basic facilities like clean and proper hostels, Wi-Fi, food, and medical facilities. It has well-designed labs and very well-maintained classrooms but free Wi-Fi is not available. Library is not well stocked.

Faculty: The course curriculum is not relevant. Semester exams are easy for students who are serious about their studies. Teachers in our college are very good and teach very well.

Other: Our college organises the latest reunion. Students are not allowed to play during off periods in the playground. I love the playground of this college.

Review of Asansol Polytechnic.

Placements: In our college, a few students got placed at Jindal.

Infrastructure: Our classrooms are well-maintained. Laboratories are average. It has a library. There are no sports clubs. A canteen facility is also available. Our college also provides hostel facilities.

Faculty: Our teachers are average at teaching. They always try to solve our problems. YouTube video lectures are better for students.

Other: Fests like freshers' parties, farewells, reunion programs, etc., are conducted in our college. Workshops are not conducted very well.

Best Polytechnic, good placements with top core MNCs, Great faculty, Ragging free campus.

Placements: I am placed in Jindal steel & Power, Odisha. Almost 20-25 students got placed every-year from a single branch of electrical engineering. Placement is quite good compare to other government polytechnics in Westbengal. This college is renowned as a mining college at Asansol, and also the oldest mining college in Westbengal. 95% students get placement in Mining, mining serve and metallurgy. High package offered 4LPA, approximately package lies between 1.9LPA to 3.9 LPA as freshers trannie. Here ase best professors and top class facility. Top hiring companies are JSPL, JSW, JSL, L&T, Bajaj, Jay Balaji, Gainwall CATT, Shyam Sol, SSL jamuria, KIC metalics and many more. Internship course also provided to us like in NPTI Durgapur, CMRI Durgapur, Chitaranjan locomotives, and also encourage us to go for DPL, DSP etc. Proud to be a student of these college.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is quite good, Air conditioning room also available for final year student. I SEE a good future to study here, simple to enter here by scoring a good rank in JEXPO exam. There is a big library and practice lab. Practical Workshop is very large in size. A big playground is also available for playing games. Canteen is not so bad. Hostel is avarage, need to more clean it.

Faculty: Here top class facility available, professors are highly qualified, there is no doubt a great classroom study as it's a government college. Practical Workshop is a great motivation here. 98% student passed exam easily as they are not bad at study, but there are always strict examiner, so becareful about study.

Other: Students who are good at Science, or just completing 10+2 PCM, can easily be topper here. To get placement you need to carry above 8 CGPA which is quite good impression for requiter company. I never visit to girls hostel, but I suggest that the boys hostel (mining hostel) should be more cleaned and should require all modern practical examination tool in practical lab.

Overall, the campus is amazing.

Placements: This year, almost every student got placed in core companies. Some of them even continue further studies with jobs. The top recruiting core companies are ITC, Shyam Sel, Mithan Steel, Jai Balaji, Reshmi company etc. But internships are zero, and no student got an internship from any company.

Infrastructure: Our campus is not that bad because every kind of basic facility, like transportation, medical facilities, and food facilities, are available. Hostels are available with the same services. The campus has free Wi-Fi for students and teachers. Labs and classrooms are good. The library should be upgraded.

Faculty: The passing marks are 30 out of 100. Semester exams are not that hard if you attend the classes on a regular basis. The curriculum is not relevant to our course, which is core related. Teachers are highly qualified, but their teaching quality is not as good as expected.

Other: There are no scholarships provided by the college. The canteen needs some upgradation.

Absolutely amazing for the faculty members and their behavior.

Placements: 70 % is the all over percentage of students who gets placement every year in our course electrical engineering. There is no particular the highest package that a company offers, it's an average package like 1lakhs to 4 lacs per year. No students got internship from our college in our course this year 2022.

Infrastructure: College campus is absolutely fine with all kind of facilities like hostel facilities, play ground facilities, super clean labs, supper clean classrooms and well maintained library. But Wi-Fi is not available. Hostel is so good that provides good quality food services, and free Wi-Fi also.

Faculty: Teachers are so much talented and also so much helpful to us. Their teaching quality is absolutely fine and also the way they interact with us. Curriculum activities are not relevant in our course specially in our electrical engineering course Semester exams are very difficult just like always .

Other: Campus crowd is always very engaged .

Review of Asansol Polytechnic.

Placements: In our batch, almost 40% to 60% of students got placements at top companies in West Bengal and outside. No students got internships in electrical engineering. Top recruiting companies are Balaji, Shyam Steel, and Reshmi TMT.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available. Classrooms are excellent. Labs are fine, and the library is well-organised by the college authorities. Hostels are available at a very nominal fee with all kinds of facilities, like medical and food facilities.

Faculty: The course curriculum is not that relevant. Teachers are very helpful and highly qualified. They behave like friends to every student. Semester exams are very easier for regular students. 40% is the passing percentage.

Other: Our college fest needs more encouragement. The canteen should be upgraded.
