ACJ Entrance Exam Counselling 2026: The Asian College of Journalism will release the dates for the ACJ counselling after the declaration of the results on their official website. Examinees who pass the ACJ exam 2026 will be called for the counselling round. Shortlisted candidates will have to be present on the campus at the time of counselling otherwise, the seat will be allocated to another candidate. Once the classes commence, students will have to submit their original documents. The candidates selected will have to appear according to the schedule released by the institute. Candidates applying for ACJ entrance exam for admission to PG Diploma in Journalism and PG Diploma in Business and Financial Journalism can pay the application fee in any of the two modes:

  • Online Transfer via online payment gateway (Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking)
  • Offline Transfer via Demand Draft in favour of “Media Development Foundation”, payable at Chennai

Candidates sending fee via DD must ensure that their full names, email IDs, and mobile numbers are mentioned.

ACJ Entrance Exam Cut Off List 2026

The Asian College of Journalism generally releases a cut-off list where students who have appeared for the ACJ Entrance Exam need to meet the cut-off in order to be eligible for admission once the two rounds have been conducted. Based on the cut-off, merit lists are prepared. Candidates will be ranked according to the marks secured in the entrance exam and interview round. Candidates who have more marks than the cut-off are eligible for admission. The cut-off is decided on the following factors:

ACJ Entrance Exam Counseliing Fee Structure 2026

The ACJ tuition fee for PG Integrated Multimedia Journalism course is INR 4,60,200, including GST 18%. Candidates admitted to course must secure their seats within 7 days by making an advance payment of INR 1,00,000. The balance amount of INR 3,60,200 should be paid in two equal installments, according to following schedule.

ACJ will not accept any request for refund of fees. Once a candidate is admitted, seat allotted to him or her stands filled.

No, according to official website of Asian College of Journalism, the mode of examination of ACJ entrance exam is English. So, a student cannot write entrance test in Hindi or any other language.

The ACJ entrance exam will have two sections: Language Skills and General Knowledge. Both sections will be of 100 marks each. Candidates will be given 0 marks for any incorrect answer. Therefore,  there is no negative marking in ACJ entrance exam.
