IIMC exam centres 2025 list has been released by the institute. For many courses, IIMC accepts CUET scores so candidates have to appear for CUET at designated centres to be eligible for admisison. Candidates can check their exam centre for the IIMC exam will be mentioned on the CUET/IIMC admit card.

The candidates, have the option to choose at least three nearest exam centres in the application form for the IIMC entrance examination. Candidates can check the tentative IIMC exam centres mentioned in the article.

Start reading any National newspaper

Keep a tab on events of national and international importance

Try to discuss current affairs with your friends and try to understand their perspectives on different topics.

Start writing. I can't emphasize this enough. This is very important. Try to write at least 2 articles for now and increase it to 4–5 per day. You will feel the change, believe me.

Talk to yourself. Yeah, talk to yourself all the time. I used to practice for my interview every day. I used to ask questions all the time.

These things if followed seriously will help you guys a lot, believe me.

Q:   Do I have to give two separate exams for (IIMC) PG Diploma, i.e. CUET PG and IIMC exam?
A: 

No, IIMC considers CUET-PG scores for admissions. Once you pass the entrance test, the further rounds of the selection process like interviews and counselling are conducted by IIMC. Unless, you wish to apply for PG Diploma in Journalism in Odia, Marathi, Urdu or Malayalam. For these courses IIMC conducts their own entrance exam. You can check out their website for more.

Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Jammu accepts IIMC entrance test scores for admission to PG Diploma courses. As per the IIMC 2024 cutoff for Round 2, the closing ranks for PGDM courses varied between 411 and 540, wherein PG Diploma in English Journalism stands out as the most competitive course. So, considering the latest round cutoff, candidates seeking admission to IIMC Jammu must secure a rank upto 540 for PGDM admission.

As per the IIMC 2024 cutoff for Round 3, the closing ranks for Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism (Hindi) was 728 for the General AI category candidates. For PG Diploma in English Journalism, the seats were filled with the release of Round 2 cutoff (610). As per the IIMC 2024 cutoff for Round 3, the closing ranks for PGDM courses varied between 965 and 1006, wherein Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism (English) stands out as the most competitive course. For Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Media, the Round 3 closing rank was 1006 forbthe General AI category students. So, considering the latest round cutoff, candidates seeking admission to IIMC Aizawl must secure a rank upto 1006 for PGDM admission. 

Q:   How to prepare to get into IIMC - Delhi?
A: 

Candidates must prepare well to get admission to the IIMC Delhi. The preparation starts with CUET preparation. Students must practice well for the CUET exam to score well and get into the IIMC Delhi Merit list. This can be done if students have done hard work and practiced well with the sample papers done beforehand. Students must also prepare well for the interview round in addition to the accepted entrance exam.
