The oldest engineering college of the Northeast has a great legacy.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant as per industry needs, which makes the students ready for jobs, along with good communication and leadership skills. Exams are fairly structured, focusing on conceptual clarity rather than wrote learning.

It's a government college and is quite good, placement scenario is good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They provide us with notes. They give us good class lectures. They explain how to use PPTs and they also help us during our examinations. Sometimes, they take extra classes to teach us. They are also available outside the classroom. Semester exams for some subjects are sometimes hard and mostly others are average. Our professors are very qualified and very friendly.

Inside Assam Engineering College.

Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio is above average, allowing fairly decent interaction between students and teachers. Most faculty members are calm, and approachable, and maintain a positive relationship with students. Their teaching is student-focused and easy to understand. The examinations, set by ASTU, are moderately difficult. While some students struggle to pass, many perform well. The course curriculum is mostly relevant, although a few conventional subjects are still included and could be upd...

All about Assam Engineering College.

Faculty: The teaching staff here is very professional and knowledgeable, with all professors being Ph.D. level and assistant professors being master's graduates. The semester exams are set at a moderate level of toughness, inculcating more of a logical thinking culture.

It is absolutely good because of the location, faculty, technology, labs, hostel, and placements.

Faculty: Professors are highly educated in their field so they teach properly about our subjects. In Assam Engineering College, they added new courses to cope with the new technology. End-semester exams are slightly tough for some subjects. But students can pass with some tricks like doing previous years' question papers, etc.

It is a decent college that provides lots of opportunities for students who work hard.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful but for our department, teachers are very strict. All the teachers are qualified and mostly, teachers teach us in Assamese so students should learn Assamese if they want to come to this college. Semester exams are easy and not difficult. We can pass easily if we study regularly. The pass percentage is 40%. Our courses are good and it is designed perfectly. It does not pressurise us to study all the time.

College life at Assam Engineering College.

Faculty: Faculty members at AEC are highly qualified and students are friendly. The problem is the ratio of students to faculty is low, so course completion takes time. If the course is completed on time then students are not able to catch up with the course curriculum.

AEC campus is green and it is surrounded by beautiful hills.

Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio is very high. Most of the faculty members are very calm and good. The student-faculty member's relationship is very good. Their teaching is student-oriented and very understandable. The examination is moderate and the paper comes from ASTU. Many students cannot pass exams and many students score well. The course curriculum is relevant except for some aspects such as some conventional subjects are also added now.

The college is good, average placements, good and decent infrastructure and facilities.

Faculty: The faculty are good and helpful and also very strict in the electrical department. The teaching quality is nice. The course curriculum is relevant but you have to give your extra effort and have to do other projects and internships from yourself other than college to be industry ready. The semester exams are nice and the level of the examination is moderate and 70% students pass the examination.

A thorough review of Assam Engineering College.

Faculty: The faculty members of AEC are well-qualified. They are available for the students always and help us throughout. The course is also made in a way that maximum outcome can be achieved. They conduct various presentations and public speaking programs to make us ready for our future work. Semester exams are moderate. One can pass the exam by covering the course outcome.
