Assumption College is well-known for sports. MG University awarded it as the best college.
Placements: Not many companies visit the college for placements. The college does not offer placements for the undergraduate students. However, a few companies visit the college to offer placements for postgraduate students.
Infrastructure: The campus is very good and is spacious enough. There are several buildings including academic blocks, three auditoriums, gym, conference halls, seminar rooms, health care rooms, and a room for first aid facilities. Our college also has a volleyball, handball, and badminton courts. The hostel facilities are satisfactory with good food and clean toilets.
Faculty: The faculty members were very good with a very good amount of experience. They were available to us all the time as they have stayed with us in hostels. The teachers were well educated, and they have completed their PhDs. The course curriculum was very useful and offered us with immense knowledge and experience.
Other: Each department conducts a fest. The fest conducted by the commerce and English department was the most popular one. Around 50 colleges participated in the fests. All programmes were conducted with such a good vibe.

A college giving you opportunity to learn and grow.
Placements: The placements at Assumption is average. The companies like KPMG, Wipro, GICE, Tech Mahindra, etc., come for placements. As very few companies come for placements, only 25 percent of the students got placed. We don't have internships for B.com at Assumption. Needs improvement in placements as well as the internship that is to be down the line to motivate students to corporate life.
Infrastructure: The Assumption college has good library facility with lots of good books, magazines, articles, and many competitive exam books. Normal classrooms and auditoriums need to be equipped with good LCD. There are facilities like the canteen and mediocre computer lab. The college has a huge campus but average infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty are good, who always motivates us in learning and to grow. The course curriculum seems to be good but needs more improvement by bringing up more productive courses which are career-oriented and more add-in courses like weekend competition exam and professional entrance coaching.

A worthy college to develop the spiritual mind.
Placements: The placements were less for B.Com students compared to science students. For my batch and my seniors, only a few companies visited, and about 20 students from my class got placed in aviation. The stipend is an average amount of Rs. 10000 and maximum are Rs. 20000 They were two companies came for the post of teachers in private college. Usually, students get an invitation for placement from other colleges, and students attend and get placed. For science students, there is the huge number of places where 50% of the students get placed in Wipro and Infosys and the package offered is from Rs. 25000 to Rs. 30000.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure which contains two canteens, labs for each department, 3 auditoriums, 2 grounds, gym, basketball court and volleyball court, computer lab, etc., are main infrastructures provided. It had a good quality maintained in food and maintenance. The hostel rooms are four seated, and there are 7 hostels provided.
Faculty: The faculty for B.Com is a package of both experienced and freshers of M.Com and MBA. They are interactive, cooperative, and friendly. The course curriculum is followed according to MG University, and it is useful. There are about 500 students from commerce and had 15 faculty members.
Other: From an alumni, this college had gained a lot of experience for me in the area of confidence, strength, and self-doing of things. The assumption is that it is a well-known college for sports and maintaining discipline. From the assumption, we came to know that, the rules of prayer and the well-maintained manner in behaviour is learned.

Vimala college and Assumption college are both good universities in the state. Both are very well reputated among the students.
