Atmakur Engineering College has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses: Courses Eligibility B.E. / B.Tech Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering or any other examination recognized as equivalent there to, from a recognized Institute/ University, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana are also eligible. Candidates who have appeared in Diploma in Engineering and who are awaiting their results can also apply on provisional basis. Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana. Candidate should have completed 16 years of age as of 31st December of the year of admission (2023). There is no upper age limit. M.E./M.Tech Candidate must have passed B.E./B.Tech. in relevant stream and obtained with the above mentioned marks (45% in case of reserved category candidates) from an AICTE/UGC approved institution recognised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as equivalent thereto. Final year appearing students may also apply on provisional basis.

Worth Studying here. Good college.

Placements: AEC college is one of the best collegeS in Nellore which tries to bring more number campus placements. Around 10 companies came for placements.40% students were selected in out period for campus placements. Companies like Tcs, Wipro, Global logic visited our college. There is a placement cell to take care about placements and companies. It is very efficient in bringing better and genuine companies to us.

Infrastructure: AEC college has an outstanding infrastructure. Best among any other college in our region. Very well maintained classrooms. Large and effective labs. Complete library with effective internet. We have got best sports and games sections. With trainers, big grounds including football and badminton and more. I never faced any issues related to infrastructure.

Faculty: Faculty are at their best, We have separate doubts clarification sessions. Our teachers use different techniques like digital classes. For every subject we have 2-3 lectures for 150 students we have around 25 lectures. They gave us industry exposure by taking us to different industries like Visakhapatnam steel plant. The course curriculum is useful.

Other: We do not have any fests. We have a decent crowd in our campus. Our campus is surrounded with full of greener. They provide scholarship for best students.

Other: It is a good college to join because it was started by IT guys and they will provide job opportunities in their firms. As far as faculty is concerned it is average because faculty members are tentative all the time. I am from first batch and I got placed in their IT firm.
