Babasaheb Naik College of Engineering, a grade A institute affiliated to SGBAU.

Placements: As we know, for civil engineering, fewer opportunities are available in any college campus placement, but here, they provide many campus opportunities for us. Also, they focus and give training every year on placement by conducting various classes. The placement record for the year 2015 is greater than 265+ students which is one of the best records ever. For other years, the placement record also seems good.

Infrastructure: As the civil engineering building built in the year 1983, it is not much attractive, but the college administration building is very attractive. Also, the overall college infrastructure is very big and attractive. In civil engineering building, there are two Wi-Fi connections available for both students and faculty with high-speed internet. All necessary labs are available for civil engineering practicals with all machines, instruments in working condition. Here's the fact, the college is very serious about practicals and gets all the practicals performed by the students. A huge amount of books are available in the library. Also, they provide book bank for top 20 merit students according to last year result, and also provide book bank to category students too without any charges.

Faculty: The faculty are very knowledgeable. Their teaching methods are very good as they are very experienced. The student to faculty ratio is good. The course curriculum is so effective and made by Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University. The faculty always motivate us and help us related syllabus or any other college issues.

Its overall a very good college with high placements and knowledge and very good infrastructure

Placements: This year, there are 236 placements. Last year, there are 215 placements. Here we have companies like Tech Mahindra, L&T Infotech, etc. Also, we have staff selection board interviews. We also have companies like Suraj Bidcon,Jupiter Constructions and Universal Educatins.

Infrastructure: We have separate buildings for each department with the high-tech laboratories. The civil department has laboratories like a geotechnical lab, fluid mechanics lab, geology lab, survey lab, a theory of structure lab material testing lab, etc. We also have a full acoustical auditorium hall for the college purpose only.

Faculty: The faculty members are highly educated having almost masters and most of Ph.D. holders which helps in the curriculum as well as no curricular activities. Faculty members are present even after the college is terminated. The non-technical staff team is also highly experienced and has a great knowledge.

Other: The college has good staff and good lecturers. They are motivating, highly qualified and they can help in academics as well as in other activities too. The principal and respective HODs motivate students like anything and solve the problems with ease. Hostels are very good with Internet facilities.

Other: Average college with poor placements. Well-disciplined as far as study is concerned. Very good practical labs. Very good if you are interested in sports. The faculty is average. Some teachers are very much experienced and good. Few are newly join also. Here you have to struggle for internal marks because you won't be getting this easily.
