Genuine review of Bankura Government Polytechnic.

Placements: Students who get 60% in their semester exams, will get placements. The highest package is around Rs. 35,000 and the lowest is Rs. 15,000. Reshmi and L&T are the top recruiters at this college. The college does not provide internship opportunities for students. So, no one can do internships. Junior Engineer is the top role for those who have a Diploma at this college.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not that good compared to other colleges. Wi-Fi speed is not that good. Labs are not well-cleaned. Many books are not available in library. There are no hostel facilities so everyone would have to stay is mess. The food quality is not good in mess. They provide low quality food.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to students. If anyone face any kind of problem related to study the teachers will fix it out. Teaching quality is also good. Course curriculum is also related. And all students get industry-ready after studying in college class. Semester exams are very hard mode. No one students cheat in exam.

Other: My senior brother suggested to get admission in this college and also course. I wish the college had a hostel and a good canteen that provides good clean and warm food.

Totally satisfied with the college facilities & the mess facilities around the college .

Placements: Companies that recruits from our college & specially from our course are mostly core companies like jindal steel, maithon tmt, Shayam metalics, Tata, mahendra etc. Very rare companies are there who offers bond of 2-3 years before joining their company.3-4 Lacs is the average salary that maximum companies offers. There are no internship offers until your complete your course.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is fine as well as the environment of the campus is so beautiful. Nessecery facilities are there like canteen with good quality food, bike parking, well maintained computer labs ets. But yes there is no hostel facilities, students have to go for mess options or paying guest rooms near the college campus. Inside the college campus there is no Wi-Fi, but good & clean classrooms available.

Faculty: When was in my 3rd year, our teachers were very greatfull & helpful too. They helped us in our final year project. Teachers are actually very help full & very humble. They also teach very good & they have enough experience of teaching. Curriculum activities are not so important for our course but student can be Involved in sports as their interest.

Other: Scholarship options are their. Also the surroundings are very good.

This year, the placement was so much better than last time .

Placements: I have the idea about those top recruiting companies because I got placement from our college in Reshmi metallics company from the college campusing. There are lots of recruiting companies like Jai Balaji, Maithan TMT, Jindal Angul etc. Those companies offer almost INR 3 Lacs per year if the student's quality is good enough if it is not then they offer a basic salary of INR 1 Lacs - INR 2 Lacs per year.

Infrastructure: The actual infrastructure of our college is not that large or big, but all kinds of facilities like medical, transportation, and food facilities are available inside & around the college campus except the hostel facilities. Hostels are available on our college campus, students need to find mess rooms or pay for guest rooms for staying or they have to travel in the distance. In our college Wi-Fi is not available, but labs are good including the library and sports.

Faculty: In our college campus, there is an unmaintained sports ground, but curriculum activities are still relevant for the last 5 years. The college authority encourages students & also pays support. Teachers are extremely helpful to us & truly inspirational. They have a good technic of teaching & they are highly qualified also.

Other: Extra curricular activities are not that relevant at all .

Our college had good placements in 2020 compared to this year.

Placements: As always, placements are absolutely fine in our college, especially in our electrical engineering course. About 80% of students in our course are placed in 2022. However, no students from our college received internships this year. Top recruiting companies are Subros, ITC, Reshmi Metallics, etc.

Infrastructure: The college campus is absolutely fine, but hostels are not available, and free Wi-Fi is also not available. Students need to find a mess or PGs. Labs and classrooms are good, but the library could be better. It has all kinds of facilities, like medical facilities and food facilities.

Faculty: Semseter exams are very easy. Teachers are very helpful, highly qualified, and behave like friends. They guide us in a very good manner.

Other: Curricular activities should be encouraged more.

Very good placements in all the branches.

Placements: I don't have any idea about every year, but in our batch, about 60-80% students got placed in core companies. Those core companies were subros, Jindal, Reshmi and maithan. Zero percent students got internships from our metallurgy branch.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available in the college. Labs are super awesome along with clean classrooms. The library is super clean. Hotel facilities are available here but mess is available for food. Very good quality of food is available in the mess along with medical services.

Faculty: Semester exams are very difficult in our course. Buy faculty members are very good with their behavior & Frankness. They have very good teaching style. 95 percent students pass every year in our college. Curriculum activities are not relevant to the industry standards.

Other: Scholarship is not available in the college.

A hostel should be made for the students.

Placements: 80% students get placements from our college campusing in top recruiting companies like subros, ishaki motherland, maithan, Reshmi, etc. These companies offer 1.2-1.8 LPA packages on an average.

Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are well maintained by the college authority and also the Library. It's very old and it contains a very good environment for studying. Wi-Fi is not available. Hostel is not available. Mess is available near the college with good services like medical and food facilities.

Faculty: College faculty members are very good and their teaching quality is very impressive. The connection of faculty members with the students is good. Curriculum is not relevant in the college campus. The semester exams are very difficult in our college.

Bankura Government Polytechnic is a good college.

Placements: Almost 50% of students got placement in good companies, and the rest will try for off-campus jobs. The highest package salary package offered was 3 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. No student in our course gets internships from our college. The top role offered is junior engineer.

Infrastructure: The college campus is very good and well maintained. The college does not provide a hostel. Students need to find the mess, and it's very easy to find near the college area. In our college, Wi-Fi is not available. Labs are very good. Classrooms are very clean, and the library is well maintained.

Faculty: Some teachers are very rude to students, and some are very good at promoting good behaviour and connecting with students. They are highly qualified. Their teaching style is very good. The course curriculum is not relevant. The semester exam is very easy for us.

Review of Bankura Government Polytechnic.

Placements: Approximately 60% of students got placements in the electrical branch through campus placements. The salary package offered was 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Balaji, Jindal, and Subros. Fresh engineers and junior engineers are the top roles offered.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and the facilities are excellent. Labs and classrooms are good, but the library is better than labs. Hostel facilities are not available, but mess facilities are available near the college.

Faculty: Teachers are very good at teaching and their teaching quality is good. They are very helpful and friendly to every student. They try their best to communicate with the students. The course curriculum is relevant. 30% is the passing percentage.

Other: I chose this course because I like doing experiments with electric machines. Sports should be encouraged more.
