The placements are not good, and the college is trying to improve their placements so that more numbers of students can place in good companies with high packages.

Decent faculty and infrastructure, but it needs better industry exposure and placement assistance.
Placements: Placements are really horrible. You don't get any placement via the college, and even if you do, the package is really horrible. Many students can't even get a salary of Rs. 10,000 per month. Very few to no companies come to college for placement. This is the only direct review specifically for the IT branch. Only about 20% of students are placed. The highest package offered is 7 LPA, the lowest is 1.5 LPA, and the average is 3 LPA. The top recruiters are Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, HCL, and Chetu. Internship opportunities are none via college, students need to apply independently.
Infrastructure: The college has modern classrooms, smart boards, a well-equipped lab for IT, CSE, Electronics, and mechanical, and a large library with 40,000+ books and e-resources. Campus Wi-Fi is available. Hostels are separate for boys and girls, with AC/non-AC rooms and basic furniture. Wi-Fi in the hostels is consistent. The mess and canteen are available. The food hygiene and taste are mixed. Some complaints and protests over quality. On-campus first-aid is provided, with tie-ups with the nearby hospital. Sports facilities like cricket, volleyball, basketball, badminton, indoor games, gym, auditorium, and seminar halls are available. The transport, ATM/bank, cultural clubs, and student events are also available.
Faculty: The faculty members are helpful, qualified, and experienced, many with PhDs, rated around 3.9/5, and they focus more on exam preparations. The curriculum is well-designed and industry-oriented, but needs extra preparation beyond classes. Exams are moderately difficult, and the pass rate is 80-90%, and some report up to 95%.
Other: I chose this course because of its good career scope and industry demand. The course has a relevant syllabus, good faculty, and practical labs. The college should improve in more industry exposure, updated labs, and better placements. Events like tech and cultural fests, clubs, and hackathons are organized. The campus is well-connected, with decent surroundings. The merit and government scholarship options are available.

Overall, college and the environment of college are excellent for engineering.
Placements: Placement is quite good, and every year the company visits and offers placement to students. Placement is excellent and good. Very popular companies have been visiting every year. So, overall, the placement is good and valuable for students.
Infrastructure: Course of biotech in Bansal Institute is well. Lab in the department of biotech are well maintained, and the labs are excellent. About the hostel, it is good and environment of hostel is quiet. Also mess service is available in hostel. Hostel is good for both studying and living.
Faculty: Faculty of Bansal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow, is knowledgeable and well-experienced. So every year when new students come, they treat them like their brother and support and explain very well. Exams in the institute are semester-wise, like every year, 2 semester exams have been held.

Decent labs and practical experience, but curriculum and industry exposure needs improvement.
Placements: In my course, around 60–70% of students were placed. The highest package offered was around 6 LPA, while the lowest was about 3 LPA, with the average package being 3.5 to 4 LPA. There was no fixed top recruiting company, as various mid-sized companies participated in the placements.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure for the course included well-equipped labs with computers and essential software for practical sessions. Wi-Fi was available only in the labs and the library, not campus-wide. Classrooms were functional but basic. The library had a good collection of academic resources relevant to the course. The hostel facilities were decent, with basic amenities provided, though not very modern. The food in the mess and canteen was average, offering standard meals without much variety. Medical facilities were minimal, with a basic health center available for common health issues. Sports and games were supported, but the facilities for them were also average, with limited equipment and playing areas.
Faculty: The teachers were generally helpful and qualified, with average teaching quality. The curriculum was somewhat relevant but didn't fully prepare students for industry, requiring additional learning. Semester exams were moderately difficult, and the pass percentage was around 70-80%, making them manageable with regular effort.
Other: I chose this course for my interest in technology and career opportunities. The best aspects were the practical labs and real-world projects. However, I wish the curriculum was more industry-focused with better internship opportunities. Campus events were small, the crowd was diverse, and extracurriculars were decent. Connectivity and campus surroundings were average, and scholarships were limited.

Helpful faculty members, good labs, decent placements, and a campus that supports growth.
Placements: Around 70-80% of students were placed. Highest package was 12 LPA, average was around 4-5 LPA, and lowest was 2.5 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, and Cognizant. Nearly 60% got internships in companies like TCS, HCL, and startups. Roles offered included Software Developer, Data Analyst, and QA Engineer.
Infrastructure: College offers well-maintained classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, and fully equipped labs for practical learning. Library has a good collection of books and digital resources. Hostel facilities are decent with clean rooms, 24/7 water, and electricity. Mess provides average food with a hygienic kitchen, and the canteen offers a variety of snacks at reasonable prices. Medical facilities are available with a visiting doctor and basic first aid. There are sports grounds for cricket, football, and volleyball, along with indoor games like carrom and table tennis, promoting overall student well-being.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and they support you in your extracurricular activities. Helpful and qualified teachers with good teaching methods and clear explanations. Curriculum is relevant and skill-focused, helping students become industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate. Pass percentage is around 85-90%.

The college offers good infrastructure with Wi-Fi, labs, and smart classrooms.
Placements: If students want to get placements, then they will have to work hard. We will need internships for placement, and without them, we will not get placement here. We will have to do some separate work and enhance many skills, and along with that, improve our communication skills.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for our course is satisfactory, with access to Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, and a decent library with relevant books and resources. Hostel facilities are average, with basic amenities like clean rooms and 24x7 water. Mess food is manageable but repetitive. Medical aid is available. Sports facilities like volleyball, badminton, and a small gym are provided.
Faculty: Faculty members are moderately helpful. Some teachers are experienced and knowledgeable, while others lack effective teaching methods. The course curriculum is somewhat relevant but needs regular updates to meet industry standards. Semester exams are of a moderate difficulty level with a decent pass percentage, usually around 70-80%.

The college is good if we only want to study. It provided good placements for two students in 2021.
Placements: The real status of Bansal Institute of Engineering and Technology in 2025. Placements are really horrible. We do not get any college placements, and even if we do, the package is really horrible. Many students cannot even get a salary of Rs. 10,000 per month. Very few companies visit the college for placements. We should forget about internships at all.
Infrastructure: At Bansal Institute of Engineering and Technology, the hostel facilities are above average but rules are hard for students. Wi-Fi facilities are not provided in the hostel, and if we need then we can get fitted on our own. Labs, classrooms, library, etc., are average. In the library, we cannot use our phones. The quality of facilities in the hostel is good. Food available in the mess is something good and the canteen facility has certain timing. There are both AC and non-AC rooms.
Faculty: Faculty members in BIET Lucknow are good but the first-year faculty members are really the best and helpful. The course curriculum in my college is not to speak of. There are no curriculum activities and only study at my college. There is no admission exam for B.Tech in the IT course. There is a sessional exam for internal marks.
Other: B.Tech. in Information and Technology from BIET Lucknow is good because the IT branch is accredited by the NBA (National Board of Accreditation) and it is valuable for the world, so I chose this course. There are no events, fests, and extracurricular activities. If students want to only study and take a degree then they can take admission at BIET Lucknow.
