Decent faculty and infrastructure, but it needs better industry exposure and placement assistance.
Placements: Placements are really horrible. You don't get any placement via the college, and even if you do, the package is really horrible. Many students can't even get a salary of Rs. 10,000 per month. Very few to no companies come to college for placement. This is the only direct review specifically for the IT branch. Only about 20% of students are placed. The highest package offered is 7 LPA, the lowest is 1.5 LPA, and the average is 3 LPA. The top recruiters are Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, HCL, and Chetu. Internship opportunities are none via college, students need to apply independently.
Infrastructure: The college has modern classrooms, smart boards, a well-equipped lab for IT, CSE, Electronics, and mechanical, and a large library with 40,000+ books and e-resources. Campus Wi-Fi is available. Hostels are separate for boys and girls, with AC/non-AC rooms and basic furniture. Wi-Fi in the hostels is consistent. The mess and canteen are available. The food hygiene and taste are mixed. Some complaints and protests over quality. On-campus first-aid is provided, with tie-ups with the nearby hospital. Sports facilities like cricket, volleyball, basketball, badminton, indoor games, gym, auditorium, and seminar halls are available. The transport, ATM/bank, cultural clubs, and student events are also available.
Faculty: The faculty members are helpful, qualified, and experienced, many with PhDs, rated around 3.9/5, and they focus more on exam preparations. The curriculum is well-designed and industry-oriented, but needs extra preparation beyond classes. Exams are moderately difficult, and the pass rate is 80-90%, and some report up to 95%.
Other: I chose this course because of its good career scope and industry demand. The course has a relevant syllabus, good faculty, and practical labs. The college should improve in more industry exposure, updated labs, and better placements. Events like tech and cultural fests, clubs, and hackathons are organized. The campus is well-connected, with decent surroundings. The merit and government scholarship options are available.

Overall, college and the environment of college are excellent for engineering.
Placements: Placement is quite good, and every year the company visits and offers placement to students. Placement is excellent and good. Very popular companies have been visiting every year. So, overall, the placement is good and valuable for students.
Infrastructure: Course of biotech in Bansal Institute is well. Lab in the department of biotech are well maintained, and the labs are excellent. About the hostel, it is good and environment of hostel is quiet. Also mess service is available in hostel. Hostel is good for both studying and living.
Faculty: Faculty of Bansal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow, is knowledgeable and well-experienced. So every year when new students come, they treat them like their brother and support and explain very well. Exams in the institute are semester-wise, like every year, 2 semester exams have been held.

Helpful faculty members, good labs, decent placements, and a campus that supports growth.
Placements: Around 70-80% of students were placed. Highest package was 12 LPA, average was around 4-5 LPA, and lowest was 2.5 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, and Cognizant. Nearly 60% got internships in companies like TCS, HCL, and startups. Roles offered included Software Developer, Data Analyst, and QA Engineer.
Infrastructure: College offers well-maintained classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, and fully equipped labs for practical learning. Library has a good collection of books and digital resources. Hostel facilities are decent with clean rooms, 24/7 water, and electricity. Mess provides average food with a hygienic kitchen, and the canteen offers a variety of snacks at reasonable prices. Medical facilities are available with a visiting doctor and basic first aid. There are sports grounds for cricket, football, and volleyball, along with indoor games like carrom and table tennis, promoting overall student well-being.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and they support you in your extracurricular activities. Helpful and qualified teachers with good teaching methods and clear explanations. Curriculum is relevant and skill-focused, helping students become industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate. Pass percentage is around 85-90%.

The college offers good infrastructure with Wi-Fi, labs, and smart classrooms.
Placements: If students want to get placements, then they will have to work hard. We will need internships for placement, and without them, we will not get placement here. We will have to do some separate work and enhance many skills, and along with that, improve our communication skills.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for our course is satisfactory, with access to Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, and a decent library with relevant books and resources. Hostel facilities are average, with basic amenities like clean rooms and 24x7 water. Mess food is manageable but repetitive. Medical aid is available. Sports facilities like volleyball, badminton, and a small gym are provided.
Faculty: Faculty members are moderately helpful. Some teachers are experienced and knowledgeable, while others lack effective teaching methods. The course curriculum is somewhat relevant but needs regular updates to meet industry standards. Semester exams are of a moderate difficulty level with a decent pass percentage, usually around 70-80%.

Balanced campus life with supportive faculty, and decent placements.
Placements: Bansal Institute of Engineering & Technology (BIET), Lucknow, has a reasonably solid placement record for a private AKTU Affiliated college. In 2022-23, around 80% of graduates landed jobs, with a median package of 2.35 LPA and top offers reaching 8 LPA. Major recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, HCL, Genpact and more. The dedicated training &placement cell runs workshops, mock interviews, GD sessions, technical projects, and internships year-round. Student feedback shows that CSE/IT branches have 60-70% placement rates, with average packages around 3.5 LPA or 4. LPA and top at 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: Bansal Institute of Engineering and Technology in Lucknow offers decent infrastructure for engineering students. Classrooms are well-lit and equipped with projectors, and labs are functional with the required tools for CSE and other branches. The campus has Wi-Fi, a library, and a canteen. Hostels are average. Rooms are shared, with basic furniture, water coolers, and laundry facilities. The food is okay, but not exceptional. Security is decent, and wardens are responsive. It is not a luxury, but if you're focused on studying and building skills, it is a comfortable and supportive environment to stay and learn.
Faculty: Bansal Institute teachers are well-qualified. Many are Ph.D holders. They have completed their master's. They are genuinely supportive, acting more like mentors than lecturers. The curriculum is updated regularly, blending theory with practical labs, workshops, guest lectures, and real-world projects to help you build solid skills. Along the way, you will have quarterly internal tests plus mid. Semester sessional, and at the end of each term there is a semester exam set by AKTU challenging but doable with steady study. Just be aware: the answers sheets are graded by the university, and evaluation can take time and cost extra.
Other: I'm part of the B.Tech CSE batch at Bansal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow. I chose CSE because I'm passionate about coding and want a future in teaching. The best part about this course is the practical exposure. Labs, projects, and internships help you build real-world skills. However, I wish the coding culture on campus was stronger and more inter-college hackathons were encouraged. The campus hosts fests like "TechSrijan" and cultural events that are fun and engaging. The crowd is a mix. Mostly focused students. BIET is well-connected by metro and local transport.

Good to take admission here.
Placements: 70-80% of students get placed in both teaching and non-teaching companies. One training and one internship are provided by the college, and other extracurricular activities or internships are found by yourself. If you increase your skills, you get your dream job with your dream package.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good, and the college also provides i3-i5 labs, which shows upgradation. In the hostel, it provides both AC and non-AC rooms, and the food quality is average. The canteen facility is also good, as it provides a menu according to the time. The college sports facilities are also available, and the college organizes a fest that contains sports competitions.
Faculty: In college, faculty members are sometimes supportive and sometimes not. In college, several sessionals are organized, and quizzes are also conducted. In one semester, 5 quizzes are mandatory and 3 sessionals. For the semester, the college provides notes, and faculty members also use previous years' question papers to increase our practice and knowledge.
Other: I am a student of the IT branch. It is a sub-branch of CSE and helps to improve knowledge in the field of technology. For lateral entry students, it is harder to adjust to conducting classes because students do not easily accept new students. The college conducts an induction program for 1st-year students, which lasts 7 days, and the annual function is known as Shrijan.
