This is a completely value-for-money college, good for students pursuing professional courses.
Placements: As per my seniors, about 60–65% of students get placed each year, with average packages being 5–6 LPA. Mostly local companies, banks, and NGOs come here to recruit for sales and BPO-type roles. Most students look for jobs themselves after graduation and do not depend on the college for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good considering the fees being paid. Classrooms and washrooms are clean and hygienic. Labs are in good condition, and Wi-Fi is enabled. The ground covers a large part of the college, where various sports competitions are organized. A lush green butterfly garden is also present to enhance the calm environment of the college.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and are passionate about teaching. Classes are taken regularly, and labs are well-equipped to provide the best practical experience to students. This college follows the KNU syllabus, which is quite relevant to the industry. The syllabus is completed on time by teachers. Students get ample time to revise what has been taught.
Other: I chose this college because it is in my hometown. It has a good reputation here. Campus life is not very active. Although the college organizes various sports competitions and other events.

A simple journey of BB College: Value, simplicity, and self-driven growth.
Placements: There is no guaranteed placement. Occasionally, local companies or NGOs conduct small-scale interviews but these are rare and do not align with the corporate sector jobs. Professional courses like BBA and BCA are slightly better and engaged due to their skill-based nature but opportunities remain modest and localised.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure consisting of various departments for various courses and streams. It also has its own hostel. Facilities are also available such as labs, library, computer labs, classrooms, washrooms, canteens, sports facilities, Wi-Fi, and digital facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are good and intelligent. They are very approachable and supportive. Our course curriculum is designed to provide theoretical knowledge aligned with the university standards. Faculty members are very qualified. Semester exams are also conducted in easy terms.
Other: I chose this course for its affordability, accessibility, and reputation in the Asansol region. I chose this course because I am interested in it. I heard good reviews from this college about its faculty members and discipline.

Placements: I am not very sure about the placement cell if there is any in our college. So, I don’t know much about placements from our batch, but I have met a couple of students who graduated from our college and are currently working in decent companies with decent packages. Also, I personally believe that placement is more of a personal responsibility rather than the college’s, especially if it is a regular degree college and not a professional one. Our course curriculum is comprehensive and focused on maintaining a balance between academics and practical knowledge, which comes in handy to secure a good job.
Infrastructure: I deducted one star because Wi-Fi facility is not available. Apart from that, everything you might need is well taken care of. There are multiple labs, libraries both central and common, various gardens, and a lively ground, along with a canteen and some decent spots to unwind and look back on your day with your peers.
Faculty: The teaching quality is fairly appreciable. Faculty members are open, approachable, and always ready to tackle doubts to ensure no questions go unheard. The course curriculum is relevant and balanced to prepare us to tackle the outside world. The semester examinations both internal and external are fun and not stressful unless you are unprepared. Examinations have a predefined and certain syllabus, unlike real life.
Other: I chose this course, B.Com Hons. Because it is a four-year program a three-year bachelor’s degree followed by one year of research. At the end of the third year, I have the option to either take the bachelor’s degree or continue with the one-year research to earn the honours degree. Scholarships are also there, both merit-cum-need and merit-based, such as Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means SVMCM and Kanyashree. Our annual fest, Sanghati Utsav, is extremely popular across the city. In fact, many students from other colleges also visit to enjoy the breathtaking moments.

Average student life of BB college.
Placements: In my commerce department, no student got placed. Not any companies recruited us. 0% of students get internships from our commerce department. Not any roles offered by companies to us. We are still unemployed.
Infrastructure: We got one lab and one class for study. This lab is for all departments so we didn't get any separate lab. It's below the average classroom of our college department and the average bench to sit on. The lab is also below average. There is no mess for us. Therefore one canteen is available but it's not free. Sports were played by the union so we didn't get any chance to play.
Faculty: Teachers are okay. Some teachers only like some students and the teacher gives him/her a good number in the internal exam and we get the average number. No, this course does not make students ready for industry. The exam paper was average so I didn't fail in any subject and I cleared college without any backlog 80% of students pass the exam.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the office staff behaviour.
Placements: Firstly, Banwarilal Bhalotia College is affiliated with K. N. U, which is itself a new university. Approximately 60 to 65% of the students were placed in our course with an average package of 5 to 6 LPA annually, the lowest being 2 to 3 LPA, and the highest being 10 to 12 per annum. The top recruiting companies are from the corporate sector and government sector. Cut-offs of percentage are 60 to 75% to get an internship in a multinational company, and the top roles offered are such as data entry, social services, politics, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not up to the mark as mentioned, and the quality of facilities is good and acceptable. It encourages various sports and events that take place, and the canteen food delivered to the students is bearable and good to eat.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful, but not always, and the teaching quality is also average. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. Yes, semester exams are easy to attend, and the passing percentage is 75%. Students could do better if the educational system is changed.
Other: I choose it because it gives better knowledge about business and finance. To improve the course, the college should need to improve the educational system of the college. Yes, our college is at the top of all the fests and events which take place at the time.

I am not satisfied with education and placements.
Placements: Our college does not provide placement opportunities. We have to find jobs on our own.
Infrastructure: Our college has three buildings for classes and two hostel buildings. We have a separate hostel for boys and girls. It is a co-ed college. Our college has a small library from where we can borrow books for a limited period. It is not spacious. We can sit in the library and study. Our college has labs. Our college does not provide Wi-Fi. The food served in the mess is not much good.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable, but they skip the class. In the first year, they conduct regular classes, and after that, they skip many classes. We got theoretical knowledge in class. We have not got practical knowledge of the industry. Semester exams are a bit difficult as we have to go to another college to write the exam.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in commerce. Our college gives admission to only those students who have secured great marks in 12th. There are reserved seats for SC, ST, and OBC caste students.
